My WS 2000 rain gauge failed. It wouldn’t record rain unless there was a downpour. As suggested, I oiled the bucket, but this didn’t help. So as suggested, I replaced the rain gauge unit. This was difficult, as no instructions included in the replacement unit. Now it fails to show outside temperature. It looks like I’ll have to purchase a whole new weather station.

The wind speed sensor worked for a few weeks and then died. Shortly after that the humidity sensor died. I replaced these same parts in the past. Not happy with this high failure rate of parts and just having to throw money at it to keep it working.

Great product. Delivered very quickly. Only issue with WS-4000 is the set-up with a mesh network.
