The power supply went out for my WS5000 after only 18 mos. use. I have whole house surge suppression, so not sure why they failed. Anyway, I got on the website, only to discover they were out of stock. So, put in the request for notification for when they came back in stock. Two months go by, nothing. Got on the website, and they're back in stock! Was never notified. Ordered two, as it appears these failures are fairly common. Product was shipped and received quickly once ordered.

The unit works well and has all the info I need. The temp sensor has failed twice in 3 years the second time it cost me around $30 bucks, no big deal. I was told that because I live near the beach… half a mile… that was the reason for the failure. Something to consider when looking at options.

The freezer sensor works great. Was concerned about the ability to transmit through the metal freezer and 4 walls in the house. Synced up to my WS2000 station without a problem. Works great.

I purchased a station with 3 sensors to monitor a 5-shelf grow tent and it's been helpful and entertaining to use; however, I can't figure out the software and how to gather and/or use the data. I will probably extend my system to use all 8 channels eventually, to include my workshop and greenhouse, and maybe a station outside.

The store was fine, the part arrived, I installed it, and the systems is working. Hooray! Yet it was hard to find the instructions. Nothing wrong with a number of short videos, but not linking those videos to the part in the catalog is an oversight.
