I have a fairly large house and I need to monitor temperatures on both sides of it. This unit is able to monitor the remote units over those distances with no glitches so far (2-3 months). I had a problem with this with another unit I bought. So, I am giving this one a thumbs up.

My weather station is exactly five years old this month and it is not working. I bought a replacement rain gauge to try and fix the problem, but that didn't fix it. So now I have a large useless thing on my roof to replace with hopefully one from a better company.

Ordered two stations, they fulfilled the order shipping one. Three weeks later and second will not arrive in time to gift. Not happy.

Ordered the WS 5000. Arrived in 4 days. Installation was easy. The instructions for setting up the LCD display were a little confusing. Very happy with my purchase.

So far mostly good. Assembly was straightforward. Connectivity is working (device is about 200 ft from console). Only glitch is the rain collector has gone dark twice. When it comes back it lost data once. The other time I didn’t lose data. It’s only happened when it is raining which is particularly annoying. I’ve not done anything to debug it yet. Nothing appears to be physically wrong.

I only needed a $10 part for my weather station. The shipping was free, and it was very easy to find and order the part.

Easy setup. Decent quality devices. Love the "no-moving-parts" sonic wind detector. Screen is decent with lots of stuffs. I really appreciate ability to publish to other places, like Weather Underground.

It was good but it would be better if I could have placed the order myself instead of having to go through an agent.

Purchased a AW-5000 with a few accessories. So pleased with it and a customer service issue, I had, that was my fault (and quickly fixed), I ordered another AW-5000, for a family member, with the same accessories.
