Easy to explore the different options. I thought Ambient Weather has a good price point for what I wanted and I liked that I can get additional sensors to add to the system. That was one of the more important aspects of the weather station.

Great equipment for a reasonable price. The wi-fi and web services are exceptional. Still not 100% sold on the electronic wind speed gauge.

Appears to be a good unit. I think the instructions for assembly could be improved. And the assumptions for dimensions of commercial products could be revised.

My power supply unit/cord went out... defective. Yup. Really. Had to buy another for $20. Ambient actually has a "FAQ" to answer the problem. Instead, they should include a better product.

It worked immediately upon putting batteries in. Sure, some fine tuning but that made me read the manual which answered all the questions i was wondering about. Also for a pole i found a 2" PVC is strong, light and fits perfectly.
