I bought a new console for our WS-5000 because the 3-yr old OEM console froze up consistently a couple of times a day. New console was easy to order & arrived in a few days. Turns out the old console was freezing due to a bad Sandisk micro SD card. Lit search said check for 5-volt problem, which I did. Searching deeper said SD card could be a problem.

Ambient was easy and communicated with a real person, the only hitch came with FedEx in this area which at the time was experiencing some type of problem but it was worked out alright.

Incredibly happy with the weather station and the ease of putting it together. I wish the in-house tablet was a touch screen, but hey, you can't have everything in life!

I was given the task of scoping out and purchasing a weather station for my RC Flying Club in Upstate NY. After a lot of research I decided on the Ambient Weather WS-2902. It has all the features we were looking for, it's solar-powered, priced right, and was rated quite high by users.
The station is perfect for our needs! Once installed, it will provide on-site weather information from our airfield, and the data is accessible from the AWN app available for IOS and Android. Thank you for such a nicely-designed product!

I was told the funnel on my weather station was redesigned to better keep it attached to the weather station. The new version added 3 tabs that are pretty useless. Upon the first windy day after I installed the new funnel, it blew out again, but luckily I found it again. I've since modified it with some Flex Tape and hopefully it will remain in place now?

While I love the product, I don't believe it should fail within 3 years
