The system is fairly easy to set up and install. The mast mounting bracket is a bit weird and it was difficult to level the array the way they have it designed, even after taking care to make sure the installed mast was perfectly vertical. The display is a bit small, but the color makes it easy to read. The labels on the display buttons are not necessarily intuitive, and the labels are difficult to read due to placement and font size. Despite these user interface difficulties, I think the system is a very good value. I hope it lasts as long as my last weather system. One thing that bothers me is I don't know what the cost of the Ambient Weather Network subscription will be, as I never was able to locate it on their website. I guess I will wait and see after my free month is up.

Sure, What was a great product, after an experience with replacement parts I'm no longer a fan and will most likely look for another vendor next time around. I've had a weather system for a couple of years. this year the temp stopped working, spoke with tech support and they said to get a replacement for the temp part of it, Got it, still didn't work. Called them again and they said to get the full array. So after a couple of years I need to pretty much replace the unit? No discount on the second replacement part, after getting the first recommonded one?? And I need to ship back the first replacement, and pay for shipping on the $30 part (no total with the visa entry comes it). A lot of work to maybe get back now $23. Please this is place where better customer services would help to retain customers. - Jon Lewis

I received my initial order in an orderly fashion but determined I did not need one item. After leaving a message with customer service, I received a phone call later in the day and was told I would receive two emails, one that day (last Friday) and one on Monday with directions on how to return it. Today is Tuesday and I have yet to receive any emails.

After 6 years of operation the temperature and humidity sensor failed. I ordered a replacement and had my system back up and running in short order.

I wrote a review, and it went into the ether. I was successful in replacing my rain component and learned that its life expectancy is about 5 years; so my unit qualified for replacement. Haven't had any rain to test it in the field.
