While the AW store purchase experience went fairly well, I was hoping to avoid the purchase based on feedback from the AW Support team.
But, after several weeks, I still have received no response from the AW support team.

The item ordered was received fairly quickly and packaged fairly well but given the issues encountered with my 2902 and the lack of response from AW Support, I cannot recommend AW without significant caveats.

Good experience, only thing that didn't happen was I never did receive an email when my items shipped but that's a small detail. Received the new sensor array very well packaged in perfect condition!

I placed the order on January 2 and the station delivered intact in Athens Greece on January 10 two days in advance of the original delivery date.
Cant wait to set it up im my mountain house in Arcadia in two weeks.

I ordered my weather station WS-2000 on Jan 7 thru amazon. It came a couple of days later, but was lacking the power plug. I sent a message to tech support, and they said they would get one out ASAP. It’s now Jan 21, and I haven’t received it yet. USPS says deliver on Jan 22, but who knows. This is terrible customer service. This weather station is totally useless without the power plug for the console. You’ve got to do better.

Two years old and the main sensor head leaked and shorted out. Had to replace it for about $200. Poor design to have a weather sensor leak!!

the replacement rain gauge worked great, but it came without directions! That made the project take a lot longer. found directions online luckily.

Spending money is easy getting support is deplorable. I sent an email asking for help with my unit and no reply even phoning there was a message that no one was available to help. No kidding. It costs me 200.oo dollars for a new display tablet when the problem was an intermittent power supply.

Just bought an Ambient Weather Network Weather Window to use with my personal weather station. Easy to set up and connect; super simple to configure. I have changed the layout twice until I decide what info I like best, in what order. Great addition to my WX environment.

I have only had it a week and so far so good.

Never got a response to my question about replacing the monitor for a different screen format.

Since installing our WS-5000, it has functioned very well. The only problems that I’ve experienced concern the Lighting Sensor (which constantly erroneously strikes when none have occurred), and the Location Reporting which indicates the wrong address on the map. The reason for the incorrect location is due to Ambient Weather’s choice to align themselves with ‘Open Street Map’ which is a free, European Based GPS Mapping service which doesn’t provide a means for correcting errors, doesn’t provide a means for contact, and apparently cannot be held legally responsible for damages that they cause due to their erroneous location reports. Otherwise, the WS-5000 (which uses an ultrasonic sensor to detect wind direction and speed, temperature detection (outdoor and indoor), rainfall detection and humidity detection all work flawlessly. Also, battery life of the instruments has been excellent. I just installed the new Weather Window LCD Screen and it is much larger, clearer, brighter and easier to read. I would like to see the original wind speed and direction display from the original WS-5000 to be available on the new screen,as it takes two blocks on the Weather Window to display the same information and the new Wind Direction is unsatisfactory as far as I’m concerned. Overall, I highly recommend the WS-5000 and would purchase another if I needed another weather station.

I had a question about why one of the sensors was not being displayed on the online site even though it was displaying on the local display.

Never heard anything from ambient despite repeated queries.

Probably should have rated lower but equipment seems to work as expected.

Installed the temperature sensor on outdoor unit. Did not resolve sending of outdoor temperature. Something else failed.
Sent two online customer requests discussing issue and no response.

I had all sensors connected. did something most are not connecting. not sure what I did. I had no instructions for these sensors.

Service was friendly and provided accurate info. Shipping was quick.

I replaced my router after my old router died. When I couldn't get my old WS-2902 to connect to the new WiFi via AmbientTool, I learned that my WS-2902 was obsolete and had been replaced by the WS-2902D. I purchased a WS-2902D and it connected fine to my local network but would not connect to the outside services. I opened a service request and have waited over 2 weeks for a response. I still support the product, but this review is about my experience with you.
