I'm skeptical of the independence of this site based on all the glowing reviews. I have a weather station a little over a year old I've been trying to get support for. It stopped working so I opened a ticket with Ambient Weather. After weeks of no response I gave up and am looking for another company to give my money to. The weather station did not last long and the company wouldn't be bothered to respond to their own support system so I can't see how they are getting positive marks.

Display hard to see. Installation was very hard. Readings on app do not correspond to console

Very pleased with quality and ease of operation of WS-2000. I like that you can also easily add sensors. My only concern si far is that the lightning sensor I added seems only to register false readings---I get 15 to 20 lightning strikes per day regardless of what sensitivity setting I have it set to. Also, it didn't appear to capture any real strikes during a recent thunderstorm.

The weather station was surprisingly easy to set up (both hardware and software) and worked the first time without any problems. Software application for phone is excellent. Unit seems to be operating extremely well. I deducted a star because the user manual is confusing and has contradictory information, and because it was very difficult to tighten the screws that clamp the weather station onto a pole (and in fact the wrong size wrench was included with the unit).

Purchased online. Delivered quickly and set up was a breeze. Replaced a different brand of weather stations because of frustration with it. So glad I did!

Your team member was very helpful giving us he option to purchase an upgraded display for our five year old weather station or to purchase a new one for a bit more money but have the latest features. I opted to buy a new system with additional sensors so we can track all our critical spaces. The new system is in place and working great! Thanks!

I worked with Matt. He was fantastic -- listened and understood my questions, gave me concise and helpful answers that extended beyond the questions themselves, lead me to the weather station that is much better for me in my particular set of weather conditions and personal preferences, and he did it all with a very pleasant interactive personality. WOW

Great service in ordering and delivery. Instructions are not easy to follow in the set up of a ws2902D. Instructions don’t match up with what you see on an iPhone.
