WS-5000 arrive very promptly and was very easy to setup. It seems to be very accurate with rainfall, although we have had very little since I installed it. My yard is surrounded by trees in all directions so wind speed accuracy ( or inaccuracies) will not be the fault of the WS-5000. So far I'm am very pleased with the weather station.

Ordered a replacement sensor array for my weather station. Though the replacement I received had the same model number, one of the connectors on the new array was different from the old one - a three-pin connector instead of a two-pin connector - making the replacement unsuitable.
Disappointing, but I thought it'd be a simple fix to contact customer service and have them send a replacement or suggest a workaround. However, it's just not possible to contact customer service at Ambient Weather. Attempts go like this - select a number for sales, support or whatever, it doesn't matter, then be put on hold awaiting a customer service rep. After about 10 minutes, you get a recorded message that no reps are available and are asked to leave a message about your issue. I left a message but no one returned my call. Subsequent calls have had the same result. I guess I'll have to dispute the charge with my credit card company to get the issue resolved.
My advice: avoid Ambient Weather and stick to a company that still values customer service.

I am happy with my experience with Ambient as I worked through the process of replacing the array for my weather station. The only thing that would improve the experience is for Ambient to include instructions with the array replacement. There is a website to visit and I was able to find the owners manual there, but a simple set of instructions would make things much easier for the customer. This is a great weather station and my experience was very positive otherwise.
