We love the weather station. Setting it up was pretty easy. Any issues I had were addressed promptly, and I got it up and running fast. We got it up in time for a major low snow in Northern California. It worked well throughout the storm. The only thing was having to get out and brush the snow off the vane and wind cups! that's to bere expected. We will recommend Ambient weather stations to our friends.

I've had the WS-2902 for 5 or so years and it has works great. Recently I upgraded to the WS-2902D when I found out the WS-2902 was no longer supported. Ambient Weather offered a discount on the display upgrade and had very easy to follow instructions to install. I've been so pleased with the system that i just purchased the WS-5000 after reading the many new features it offers. I know i can easily sell the WS-2902D to offset the cost.

We had a wind storm of 80+ mph wind . And it took the wind cups right off my unit . Yes it got pretty bad . So when I noticed that I didn't have a wind speed showing , I knew what had happened .
I found the new part in your store online. Ordered it and within 4 days the part arrived . Thank you for your quick response . Joe B. Lubbock Tx.

Despite my entering the correct shipping address, my order was shipped to a previous address. It was extremely difficult to find it and have it returned. Meanwhile, AMBIENT refused to ship a replacement, as if I was "scamming" them.
My order did finally arrive, one month after purchase. The units do work as expected, but the customer service is slow. I do not recommend them or say to avoid them.... just realize the customer service I recieved.

I’m very pleased with the WS 2000. It replaces a Davis which wouldn’t allow rain calibration for the app.

The temp/humidity sensor failed on my ambient weather station. A little research led me to free repair. I followed the instructions. The free solution did not resolve the issue. The next solution was to replace the sensor. Turns out the sensor is a little more than $30. Instructions were included with the sensor arry. But the three pages of instruction displayed tinny on a single sheet of paper. My eyes are no where near good enough to read. I copied the “pages” to a much larger size. The quality of the text was poor but when enlarged it was decipherable. The GREAT news is that the replacement of the of the sensor array was quick simple a most importantly it works!!!

Easy purchase. Quick delivery. Exactly as described. Instructions on “registering” it to the WS-2000 display weren’t real explicit. But support was helpful. Works great since far! Happy

I ordered a WS 2000 directly from Ambient. My wife had a hard time getting discount in and had order from a different computer. Evidently, the first order went through without the discount and my order went through with the discount. anyway, we got 2 units. Upon arrival of both units, I immedietly called customer service and the sent me a shipping label to send the un-discounted unit back. Got our money credited soon after they recieved the unwanted unit. The customer service representitive was very kind and helpful. I would recomend this business very highly and so far am very happy with my weather station. Thanks Ambient! Clay Smith

Good layout with the tiles etc. Would like better access to historical stats of weather stations and comparing its accuracy with professional weather stations
