Bought 2 floating thermometers, an outdoor temp monitor, rain gauge , and a WS-50-C console to monitor my dual zone swim spa while on a 3 week mid winter vacation. All worked exactly as I had hoped. I checked my spa temps for problems from 1000 miles away for some peace of mind.

Needed a replacement sensor for my weather station and customer support was quick to direct me to the correct SKU I needed. Ordered the part and it arrived very quickly. Installed it and now my weather station is as good as new.

Easy to find what I wanted, fast shipping and arrived well packed. I’m glad I shopped directly with the manufacturer.

One suggested improvement would be to design a ball and socket mounting device to make it easier to level or relevel once the mounting pole is installed.

It took over 2 weeks, several emails and 2 customer support calls to complete my purchase. The website must have a bug that I triggered by going to PayPal in Checkout, then returning without completing the purchase. I could no longer view my cart. I attempted to start over on the purchase, but it would not acknowledge putting anything into the cart (which I could not see). I received an email the next day telling me I had 4 units in my cart, but I could not see the cart to correct it. A Customer Service Agent cleared my cart for me, but I still could not see it online, so I tried to start over once again -- resulting in getting an email the next day telling me I had 5 units in my cart, which I could still not see online. I was only able to complete the purchase by ordering it via telephone. This was a "one in a million" software error (I have 50 years' experience in commercial accounting software).

The 5000 weather station seem good. The user manual is terrible.

Customer service was great. I had an issue, explained it, and pretty much had my answer in one short sentence from customer service.

Purchased new weather station to replace one that would not connect to Wi-Fi after we upgraded our modem. After we made purchase we applied for $35.00 rebate under upgrade program. We could never get this done online using out order number. Finally got handled over the phone I hope.

It’s very hard to figure out what is included in the purchase and the pictures are deceiving. Additionally the add-on process when making a purchase is confusing. Ambient should invest in upgrading the website using a company that has deep experience in UI.
