Received the WS-2000 on Dec 30th and it was missing the display tablet and indoor sensor. According to Ambient support they were shipping replacements that day. it is now Jan 3 and replacements still are not shipped. Below is the email conversation between Ambient support and me.

Box is missing the display tablet and indoor sensor (see attached pic for what was in the box). Very disappointing. The box was opened to put the rainspikes in so maybe they were taken out and not put back in? I expect a quick response and replacement.

I have not received notification that the replacements have been shipped. I paid over $300 for this station and cannot use it because of poor quality control at Ambient and I have waited 4 days and no notification that the missing display tablet and indoor sensor has been shipped to me. You will not get a favorable review from me if I do not get notification that the replacements are shipped today. Preferably overnight since I have had to wait so long. If I do receive the shipment tomorrow you can expect a favorable review.

This is completely unacceptable and not how to treat an issue that is Ambient’s fault in the first place. Doing inventory is not an excuse to give someone who is waiting on parts to be delivered that are missing. I would rate your customer service as very poor. According to you they will not be shipped until ONE FULL WEEK after I was told they would be shipped. If it is not shipped until Thursday I expect to receive it on Friday.

So far no reply from Ambient support.

Recently bought a WS-2902D some items were missed in shipping but rapidly corrected. Like the system and service.

I was having serious issues with completing an orser during the Christmas sale. I was eventually able to order the item but only by uaing paypal. I called or emailed for assistance but never received a reply. I know the holidays are busy but it was frustrating. Overall still happy with the products i was able to get for a great price.

The equipment appears to be well thought out and survived the recent series of storms. I am, however, not so happy with tech support. I left a number to be called back "in the order my request was received": not. Your instruction manual is by no means complete nor is it intuitive. Customer satisfaction could, therefore, be greatly enhanced by a more robust technical support organization.

Ordering was easy,shipping was fast.Now for the set up that's a whole other story.

I used the upgrade program for my WS-2902 display. It arrived quickly, and the return of the old display for a rebate was simple with prepaid label. Refund through PayPal went without a hitch.
Display Unit is brighter and laid out well. Wi-Fi Connectivity is much easier. Worthy upgrade!

Good product work great

Would have liked the purchase of the upgrade to have been less complicated. My attempt failed so can not get the refund or return the older display unit. But I am happy to be able to get my weather station back online so I can follow what is happening in my area.

Great weather station! I've been using WS-2000 for a while now (4+ years) and just had to replace the rain/temperature modules. It was easy to order the replacement and easy to change out the module.

Easy to view and purchase. Husband really enjoys your products.
