Some confusion initially during the sale, but everything was resolved with customer support, and the purchase experience was good after that only have the WS 5000 up and running for a day or two so still lots to learn but very satisfied so far

Great shopping experience, still learning the WS-5000.
Maybe put the blinky Blue light on the bottom so we can see it from the ground?
Ambient online how-to videos are a great help for setting up!!

The WS-5000 was shipped the same day I placed the order and arrived, free shipping, in three days, at the busiest period in the Christmas season. Everything was in order. Excellent service! Now, if I could just get the weather to cooperate I will get it mounted.

Ambient Weather made the purchase and install very user friendly; as support answered my questions within a day via email, assured me what I ordered from Amazon would be the latest version of the weather station (“D" ver.). Their website lead me to the correct mounting configuration I wanted, the equipment to accomplish it, and made me aware of a necessary add-on (Bird spike strip deterent) for my area.

The weather station was purchased as a gift. User friendly website, prompt shipping, and great customer service followup via email to make sure item was received.

I bought the ws-5000 on the 12 days of Christmas as a gift for someone. A couple days later, they offered a discount on mounts as an after the 12 day sale as an add-on but it was only good for 24 hours. It was 2 days before Christmas and the person getting the gift wouldn't know if he needed the mount or not until after the gift was opened. I would hope that they would honor the sale price later, but I'll never know. I have other Ambient Weather equipment and have been happy with what I have. My only gripe is that the pool monitor doesn't have a space on the home screen on the higher end models but only on the simple mostly pool only unit. I was hoping the Ws-5000 would, but when I looked at it, I couldn't see it. I still like the equipment I have and am happy, thus 5 stars.

Purchasing was easy but this is the second time I’ve had to replace the hygrometer assembly on my WS-2000. If it happens again then it’s time to find a more reliable weather station.

Fast and efficient delivery. The Ambient 2902 has generally served me well for the past few years but is now beginning to fail. I have just replaced my outdoor thermo-hygro shelter and the related components but the indoor monitor has begun to malfunction as well. Its readings have been quite accurate until quite recently. I am therefore slightly disappointed.
