Product didn’t work out of box. Called technical assistance and the individual I spoke with had no idea what he was saying. Bad experience altogether.

I am quite pleased by how quickly I was able to get the station installed and uploading data to several weather sites. It is replacing an aging weather station from another manufacturer and is meeting or exceeding my expectations.

This was my first purchase of an automated weather monitoring system. I just completed installation of the system in it's permanent location and am very pleased with my purchase, the particular system that I chose, and it's ease of set-up and use.
I did not give the top rating only because of some minor complaints about communication of sales information:
Customer service was relatively slow to call back (6 to 8 hours) when I had questions trying to compare the various systems.
Some of the photographs of the systems may not be completely accurate (still not sure).
It took me a while to figure out the significance of the various radio types and their affect on the compatibility of various system components, especially the distinction between the 400MHz systems and the 900MHz systems.

Website is very poor , lacks logical thought. Payment system sucks . Follow up email with tracking doesn’t allow click through to shipper . When I checked status , one week later it said label printed - really a week later .
Maybe you are a small family run business. Either way you need improvement across your online and web presence

So far everything is working fine after 1 week, It takes a little getting use to where things are on the monitor, It seems a little crowded wish display was a little bigger but is adequate

I initially had browser issues placing my order, but while I resolved it myself switching to Chrome over MS Edge browser, Customer service was quick to reach out with their own suggestions even on weekend when they were not supposed to respond. Much appreciated. In the end my product was delivered even sooner than committed.
Thanks,

WS-1900 unit seems to work ok but the display is very hard to read in all light situations unless your on top of it.

After receiving two defective units from a third party source, I bought one directly from Ambient and it works perfectly.

Only three stars first because the ordering system declined one card, triggered a fraud alert on a second and only consented to take an American Express card in the end, and second because the tracking number was not in the order notification email but had to be cut and pasted from a PDF.
Overall, the ordering experience was a little clunky. Otherwise, it was fine and my unit was shipped in a timely fashion and arrived when it was supposed to.
