Received promptly. Setup was relatively easy. Seems to all work good as far as I can tell. Rain guage seems to be very accurate and temperatures are very accurate.

Easy enough to assemble and mount, though the configuration of internet comms was not easy - having to find the password for my WiFi and not seeing the instrument in my router tables the first few tries.
The instruction for orienting the WS-2902C for the southern hemisphere seems to be illogical.

The order was fine. Setting it up was another story! The instruction manual is one of the worst I’ve ever encountered. I’d look for a subject in the table of contents and it would tell me go to section such and such and the section would have nothing to do with what was in the contents. I finally after three tries got it setup, I think, but took Youtube to do it!

I found some of the information on the website confusing, and the actual instructions that come with the unit send you to a place that doesn't exist so you have to use the trial and error method.

You should make it more clear what you are buying on last page. Your web site is not easy to under stand. Richard Drewieske

I have had Ambient weather products for over a decade and recently decided to upgrade to the WS-1900 Osprey solar powered station. I love that all the instrumentation is in one cluster, easy to mount! No more fussing with batteries for every instrument. The console is so much easier to setup and adjust. The large print version of the instructions is also a plus, A great value for the money!

I bought the WS-2801A because I wanted to monitor the humidity in my basement as well as outside so I bought a second sensor with the station. I was a bit apprehensive since most of the weather stations have somewhat poor reviews, except for the WS-2801A. Now that I have been using it for a week I agree with the rest of the reviews, the WS-2801A is a great weather station.
The day it arrived I installed it and put the sensor outside. As it happened, a storm rolled in 10 minutes after I finished and the outdoor sensor was just under the eave of the house. The station accurately reported the SAME data as the NWS showed at a small airport 6 miles from my house and has for a week. Of course the humidity is a bit different because we have far more vegetation here than the airport - they have mostly concrete, of course.
I'm very happy with my weather station and very glad I purchased it from Ambient Weather. I highly recommend the WS-2801A.
