The shopping experience per se was good. However, I’m giving only 3 stars because this purchase of a WS-5000 is to replace a WS-2000 that quit transmitting, and thus completely died after just a little over 3 years. I certainly hope the WS-5000 lasts longer than that.

Nice weather station. However let's get away from the tipping bucket rain gauge and get something that's accurate.

The shopping experience was great. Very quick shipping!
Disappointed that the rain gauge is inaccurate. My CoCoRaHS gauge one time showed .12, the monitor showed 0.00! Just now received .88” of rain, my monitor only showed .62”! A difference of .26” not acceptable!

Only had my WS-2902C for a few days and so far I have to say I Love it. Even my wife Loves it. It was a easy setup and it is right on Par with the readings from the airport. We do not live tha far from it so I know it's got to be right. So far I would recomend this to anyone. Time will tell how it holds out to the weather.

glad I could repair my unit myself, but the process to do so was challenging, and the instructions could have been better.

Ordered replacement wind cups and received them very quickly. They were the perfect replacement part and are working well. Price was competitive and delivery was quick.

I bought myself a WS-8480 Falcon. Ordering was great, Wait time was better than average, The product performed flawlessly. My big problem is after seeing what the WS-8480 can do , I now want the WS-5000 ! I want the other devices like the air Quality sensor, I want the multiple displays, I want all the other sensors for my greenhouse. I there was a way to trade up , I would certainly do it. Not that the WS-8480 is inadequate ,It just that I love what the WS-8480 does but the ws-5000 does even More.! Alexa works great as does the web Interface and the phone interface. Quite a data gathering device indeed.

I was looking for a solar shield for an outdoor temperature sensor. Could not tell from the website which one to order. I got the wrong one and had to return it (and pay postage). Contacted support and they gave me a model number to order. I am waiting for the new shield to arrive.

Over all a good experience. Could have been better if when purchasing the product, Ambient Weather would have notified me that their products were going on sale due to Fathers Day coming up. Not a hint.
