Everything was great for the purchase. I just wish there was some communication about shipping of the package. It all the sudden showed up on my doorstep without notification (e.g., no tracking number). Albeit, there was some indication of arrival period during final purchase.

Taymen did a great job sending me an email link for the latest firmware upgrade for my WS-5000 that did not show on a link found within your website. He was very knowledgeable about handling the situation for customer success. Thank you!

I'm very impressed with both the quality of the product (WS-2902C) and the continued followups by the company to make sure I am fully informed about how to set it up and calibrate it. My only suggestion would be to provide a little more in-depth discussion of the process of calibrating the relative pressure readout, especially on where to obtain a reliable reference pressure. Telling the user to consult the pressure at a nearby airport is a bit misleading, since depending on the exact source you consult, you might get a relative pressure or you might get an altimeter setting, and the two are usually not equal. A link to a database of current airport data with explicitly labeled sea level pressure values (such as https://www.wrh.noaa.gov/mesowest) would be very helpful. Other than that one detail, I have no complaints so far. Kudos to Ambient for an excellent product.

The shopping itself was easy, and the shipping quick. Unfortunately, the packaging shows exactly what it in the box, so the surprise was ruined for my son’s Christmas present. I understand having warnings for some of the components, but I don’t think it’s necessary to show what it is.

Bought this unit as a gift. Can't believe how quickly it arrived! Thanks for great service.

The shopping experience was exceptional. Great support from Ambient Weather as concerns when I ordered and when they shipped. All in the same day. Three day shipping for free.

Unimpressed with the device I received as to the mounting of the wind vane and wind cups. Watched the video they recommended and they showed that mounting the wind vane and wind cups to be beyond easy. Unfortunately, seeing is not always believing. The video says you need a precision screwdriver, which I had. What they should of said was you need an impact driver. The video shows them turning the screwdriver with their fingers to tighten the mounting screws. It took all I could do to turn a regular size screwdriver with my hand to tighten the screws. Because of the size screwdriver I had to use for leverage I had concerns I would strip the screws. Did get the screws tightened, I believe.

Because the screws turned with great difficulty I do not know if I have them securely tightened. For fear of maybe stripping the screw I was not about to try tightening anymore than I felt needed. When lifting the wind vane and wind cups they did not come off so I didn't tighten any more.

I told Ambient Weather had I bought this in a store I would have returned it.

Minor nuisance: the video tells you you need a precision screwdriver and an adjustable wrench. So you hope you have and can find. What the video doesn't tell you is a precision screwdriver and a wrench are included with the weather station.

Bought the Birdspike and wondered why there was not a shoulder going around the top of the rain cup where the Birdspike is mounted to the rain cup to help lessen the chance the Birdspike might slip down.

Can't comment on the operation of the weather station because the ground is now under snow so I can't set my mounting pole. Maybe I could stand outside and hold the weather station but I don't need to know that much about the weather that badly.

We have the unit installed and it's working as expected. Thank you.

Great products, we love our new weather station!

My shopping experience was exceptional. My item arrived on time. We are excited to try it out soon.

Great weather station at a reasonable price

It’s great!

The person taking my order seemed to do a good job but I still have not received the part. I called to let them know I have not received. Someone did call me back but then said he needed a minute to check on something and would call me right back. He did not call me and I still don’t have the part.

Great experience with purchase. Received ordered components quickly s d they work well.

Wrong part suggested. Did not fix the problem.

Purchased it as a birthday gift to replace his 13 year old AcuRite . Disappointed on how small the display is compared to the "other" brand. Not easy to see from a distance, if on a desk must be a a perfect angle to read it. I contacted Ambient about this and how to purchase or upgrade the tiny monitor but no response!

Had the best deal on the web. Easy ordering and fast shipping.

Great company, great products, fast shipping, can't go wrong here.

Excellent quality. Easy to install. User manual and instructions are easy to follow.

The order website could be better, not the easiest to navigate.

Quick and simple.
