This is a great weather station! And shipping was really fast

Got my main system and love it. But the extras I want are unavailable…so three stars

Sales dept was very nice to deal with and support was great helping me with my upgrade problem they loaded the upgrade on a sd card and I purchased the sd card and upgrade was quick and easy.
Thanks very much... Tim
Merry Christmas to everyone there

Can't complain! Arrived pretty fast. Really cool unit and having a lot of fun with it.

Not working!
Inside temp is picking up from some unknown source I can't control.
2-week old Batteries too weak to transmit readings from directly overhead (7' to ceiling +14 feet to top of pole).
Very upset with Ambient providing non working unit!

I am reviewing the shopping experience here, not the actual product. Shopping was straightforward, easy to peruse and compare products. Selection was easy. Product was delivered timely and in good condition. Box had obviously been retaped ( leading me to believe product had been returned/reconditioned). However product appeared to be in new condition and has been operating perfectly since installation.

Love my new WS-5000.

awesome unit

Great experience. Received a part for my wind device in a timely manner. Worked perfectly and so much better than replacing the entire weather station.

I really like my weather station but I am missing parts for the rain spike kit that I ordered. Other than that I like the ease of use and functionality.

seamless purchase, the only thing i was bothered with, was the fact that they don't ship to P.O Boxes.

Knowledgeable about my issue.

Accurate data and great customer support.

Great weather station

this is a gift and will be opened the end of january......January...... so far so good... everyone has been helpful

I purchased the WS 2000 during a Black Friday sale. I would have loved the add-on feature if it actually worked well on the Ambient Weather platform (this is not the same as its Amazon store, which does not have the “full menu” of items.

I attempted to purchase three additional outdoor temp/humidity and 1 lightning sensor, which required the radiation shields—each of the shields are $75 a pop if you want to have a metal bracket instead of the flimsy plastic ones you read about in the product reviews.

Since the Temp/Humidity and Lightning Strike detectors need the radiation shield which, you could technically ADD to your purchase, but when you did, the Ambient Weather store would generate an error where it could not add ANY radiation shields.

So, now, what could have been a reasonably-priced set of additional purchases were abandoned in my cart. On time-limited sales, customers should not have to troubleshoot website issues, especially during a holiday sale.

Their loss, really, but it seems like a stupid one considering I’ll just wait a year again for another sale rather than spending 1/3 of the PWS cost on a piece of plastic.

I buy the WS-5000 for my husband Christmas gifs. This weather station is perfect. We just had issue to connecting the device on internet but we should say that the support from that company is one of the best that we find.

Really like the equipment but so far have not received a response to three inquiries in my first two weeks of ownership.

When I ordered a weather station for a Christmas present for my son at a different address the screen showed you were shipping it to my address. Luckily I was able to reach John? by email and he went to work on stopping the shipment and having it rerouted to the correct address. I am very grateful that he was successful after working on the problem for awhile. Thank you. You might avoid this problem in the future if you change your order forms to indicate sending to a different address than the one who is ordering and paying for it. Edward Hritzo

Was easy to purchase and cannot wait to hook up.
