Fast Shipping! Unit worked great right out of the box. Assembly was simple. Bird spike kit fit perfectly. Internet setup was straightforward.

I ordered the lightning detector together with the temperature/humidity shield. The package was well packed and arrived safely and the unit worked once I had sorted out the rather generic and therefore confusing assembly instructions. The instructions plus the weird assortment of and incorrect parts are the sole reason for knocking my rating down by one star. I received one short (5") and two long (12") zip ties, of which none was suitable for use per the instructions - I had to use two of my own (also short) ties in tandem to attach the sensor to its mount, which is a poor way of doing things, as the mount does not easily fit into the hole it's intended for.

When the rain gauge component of my 3 year-old Ambient weather station stopped working, I ordered a replacement component. It arrived quickly and once I'd gotten it in place on the unit it worked like a charm! The support staff were very helpful in getting the part to me very quickly. Thanks!

This is very easy to set up and I like the fact that you can access the information on the app. My other weather station doesn't do that unless you purchase an accessory.

Overall the product is working fine and please with its performance. The user manual is a little confusing and could be a little more straight forward.

This is my first experience with a weather station. Ordering was easy and setup of the system was extremely simple. Everything connected with out issue and logging into Wunderground and Ambient was very smooth. I purchased the ambient weather station on the recommendation of a friend that has had his system for several years. The lightening detector was of special interest to me and with the alerts set up it has been a great benefit to me.

Ambient offers quality devices with broad compatability to support multiple devices with their display units. I've made numerous purchases and am very satisfied with my orders. I'd recommend carefully selecting purchase options to find combinations that can offer more features for less.

Overall the experience was great. Shipping was prompt and the product arrived in one piece with nothing broken. Only issues are the initial setup/app did not work well at all. It took many tries to get it to connect to wifi, but after 45min of trying, it did connect. The last, very minor thing, is the invoice included in the box had the correct prices, but didn’t list the tax, so the math didn’t work as listed. At least the emailed receipt was correct and all of the values were accurate.
