I recently upgraded my Ambient system after 10 years. The latest system is amazing. I am assuming this one will last a decade or more. Ambient is outstanding.

The customer support is fair at best. The system does not work if you a dual band router. It took several calls to finally have the RMA label emailed. I was very disappointed and could not recommend.

The purchase was seamless, following a long conversation with a customer service rep who walked me through a 'troubleshooting' exercise to determine why my new wifi was not connecting with the Ambient system. We figured it out, he provided a discount certificate, and the new system monitor arrived a week later. All hooked up now and working great. Only challenging issue was during the customer-service phone call: there was a GREAT DEAL of background noise--other conversations--that made it VERY hard to hear MY customer-service rep. Ambient might want to look into ways to 'wall off' the sound from one rep to another.

I was able to order the part I needed. The shame is I had to PAY for it as my Ambient Weather Station was one month out of warranty.

We have been enjoying our new Ambient weather station in our 100-degree heat wave. It was very easy to set up and it seems to be quite accurate. Two drawbacks: (1) The screen size was a lot smaller than expected. At 81-years old I need to use my reading glasses to read some of the features. (2) We have our indoor sensor in the greenhouse and I have been unable to change the name on the screen as advertised in the directions. Overall, we are quite pleased.

While I like the added sensors, and the new console, one of the reasons I bought the WS-2902c was for the ability to view my stations data on my phone. It does not! Every time I open awnet, it does not show the console. However, if I go through the Add Device process, it later shows that the console is connected to the correct network. However, when I open AMbient Weather App (iPhone) I never see any data. All I see is waiting to load data, and this has been for weeks. sad and disappointing.

This is the second system we have purchased from Ambient Weather. We loved the first and used it for many yeas before we sold our house and left it behind. This Is even better than the first, undoubtedly upgraded with new technologies and an easier to read we display.
