Good experience however I’ve had problems with the wind sensor but the help has been wonderful and they will be replacing the unit for me.

This is my second weather station from Ambient Weather, I replaced my previous one that was broken by golf ball sized hail. While the main unit survived and still works both the wind direction and speed sensors were broken, I replaced the wind vane but the wind cups are not available any more from Ambient. I bought the WS-5000 this time with no moving parts. It is all ultrasonic. It works well , although I prefer the screen setup on my original one as the info is presented in a larger easier to read format and the Barometer graph one the main screen is nice, on the WS-5000 you must page through the settings to see the graph. The WS-5000 has lighting detection with an optional sensor and it works well, highly recommended.

Order arrived on time and very, very well packaged. New systems are always interesting, though both companies have excellent reputations. A minor hic-up was cleared in very few minutes and with out being scuttled around sales persons, one person, one issue, solved.

Strong winds blew away my rain gauge cup. Ordered a replacement from ambient which arrived in 48 hrs. Reasonable price. Easy to navigate website. I recommend them.

Installation Application is very poor. Written instructions ask for the 2.4 GHz router. It should ask for the AMBWeather-WIFI and your router password.

I ordered a replacement rain gauge funnel that went missing. Also got the bird spikes just in case it was the birds who pilfered it. Ordering was easy and it came promptly!

Great products. What really sets Ambient Weather stations above the "big one" is the ability, right out of the box, to upload weather stats to the Internet. Now I can view the data on any device. With the other brand, it's an extra expense.

Easy and quick! Definitely recommend. There was a shipping issue, and after contacting customer support, they rectified the situation immediately and still got here when they said it would.

I found the linking of my display very difficult.
