Was able to expand my Ambient Weather Station with additional sensors for flooding and lightning. One star off because had to go back and forward to find what I wanted. Wish it had a direct option for finding and showing all the additional devices that are compatible. Fast shipping. Happy with my purchase.

The configuration options were great, and it was delivered on or ahead of schedule. I was a little disappointed that there’s no batteries prevent the display from losing data if power is lost, but luckily that hasn’t been a problem so far. Setup has been really simple and getting it connected to the app was easy as well. Haven’t setup with Weather Underground yet, but I don’t foresee that being a problem. Overall great product!

The WS 8480 is the best and most accurate weather station I've ever owned. It is compact making it easy to mount and place in a location designed for where a weather station should be mounted. I picked this model because the humidity sensor reads below 10% and I live in a hot and dry climate region. The radiation shield and fan aspiration provides excellent and accurate temperature readings in direct sunlight. The UV sensor is accurate and the weather station measures sunlight energy for those who like to have that information displayed. Bottom line, this is a weather station I can trust to provide reliable and accurate weather information.

So I've ordered 2 different systems from AW in an attempt to fix a WiFi connection issue. Turns out the problem was a router setting.
The second system I ordered; I tried to add the lightning detector to the purchase. But even though the website listed it as in stock I was forced to remove the item during check out. A few phone calls later to AW they were able to ship me the lightning detector but I had to pay for additional shipping fees. Overall, they have been quite helpful in trying to resolve my WiFi connection issues.
