Firmware update broke my 2902A. Decided to upgrade to the 2902B in this purchase and when it arrived it connected to the internet just fine using awnet. Then the same firmware update broke the 2902B. So now I have two consoles that don't connect to the internet. 2902B is going back to Ambient weather.

I was very happy with the WS-5000 so I ordered a second one a week later. Not so happy with a $40 price increase in one week!

Great weather station and it was a breeze to set up and get connected to the internet! Really neat to see real time weather data beyond simple temperature and humidity.

Buying from Ambient was great. Shipping usps was a nightmare. It took 9 days to go from Georgia to southern Virginia and they lost tracking again. Nobody knew where it was. Just showed up after filing for lost package. Product works great. Very well made and very accurate.

Received the unit on time. Assembled it and set it outside. It seems to be working fine. I just need to read all the small print to find out more of them details.
The only minor issue I had was with the bird spike I ordered. I accidentally assembled one OD the spike holders upside down and I could not back out the strap so I had to cut it and reassembled it with the spare one.

Your online firmware update broke the consoles ability to connect to the internet. Waiting for an RMA to send it back. Both the new 2902B and my older 2902A will connect to LAN but no internet access.
