★☆☆☆☆ Holiday Bait-and-Switch and Zero Customer Support

Two days before Christmas, this company was advertising a discount. On Christmas Eve, when I went to complete my purchase, the discount had quietly disappeared—no warning, no end date, no notice at checkout.

Removing a promotion at the last minute during the holidays is bad enough. Doing it without transparency creates the appearance of a bait-and-switch, whether intentional or not.

What makes this unacceptable is what happened next. I contacted both Support and Marketing to ask if the discount could be honored, given the timing and lack of notice. I was completely ignored. No explanation. No refusal. No response of any kind.

If the promotion had clear terms or an end date, that would be understandable. If they had simply replied and said they wouldn’t honor it, that would have shown basic professionalism. Instead, they chose silence.

Customers should be aware that advertised discounts may disappear without notice, and that reasonable concerns may go unanswered. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend doing business with a company that handles holiday promotions and customer communication this way.

We made 2 purchases at your store recently. The first was for a WS-5000 weather station and console. That went well and came quickly. The second was for 2 bird spike kits as in addition to the rain sensor we wanted to mount spikes on the wind sensor as the flat top looks like a bird magnet. We have yet to get a tracking number for this shipment and can’t really rate this experience.

It's a great weather station. Pretty display unit.

It was so hard to figure out what I needed.

got everything set up fine,,,but with some challenges (typing letters-numbers on keyboard, lat-long, wifi password, etc) BUT all worked

The equipment seem to be well constructed but the assembly directions could be more clear with larger pictures of mounting requirements. The monitor is a bit clunky with the tiresome input method from decades ago. I have had the array instated just a few days but all seems to work as advertised. It is nice to see my station data on the map with my neighbors; even if the data station to station is off some.

Other than a hiccup connecting my new unit to my network, the support tea got me up and running quickly. The 2902-D has a wealth of information and would highly recommend it to anyone. For anyone that is looking for a mounting option, I modified aa abandoned Direct TV 2" mounting pole to use with my weather station.

Hard to install but worth the effort

First class service. All my questions were answered thoroughly and I was able to get my new array up and running quickly.

The purchase of our weather station was easy enough. Navigating the site was no problem. Set up and connecting with AWN could be a bit less problematic and we still have not been able to get connected with Weather Underground. The site (ambientweather.net) says to enter email and they will "walk you thru" the setup. I never got any email with instructions on how to connect.

Mi avete rifiutato l'invio del manuale in Italiano della 2AMBIENTCAM" Questo lo considero un atto egoistico, ho pagato anche Dazio.

Set up was easy and it works peefectly.

Great buying experience, quick shipping.

I ordered wind cups because ours blew off from the wind and we were unable to find them. The package that came contained a power adaptor cord for the display console.
I will be waiting for a response to this review.

I purchased an Outdoor Air Quality Sensor. Purchase and delivery of the sensor was great, and it was easy to connected it to my existing WS-2902 weather station. I'm a satisfied customer!

I recently purchase an air quality monitor to go with my Ambient Weather Station 2902. Only after I set it up did I realize it doesn't work in tandem with my display unit. Instead it requires me to use my phone to access. the information online. This should have been made obvious to me before I purchased it.

Great service and product!!

The website is like looking at an old text book, somewhat clunky and not all that intuitive.
You got the billing and shipping addresses wrong which is concerning since the address is used to verify billing info and it meant I had to add an additional $50 to my shipping cost to send this on to my parents for Christmas.

Purchased as a gift. Was well packaged. As the instructions stated, they aren’t very good. We could get the inside sensor to work but had to call support to get the outside sensor paired. The tech was very brusque, but knew his business, was efficient and effective, and we got it working. So far we’re very pleased with our unit. A 10 for the unit, but not pleased with the instructions. We would have never figured that out on our own.
