Fast delivery but disappointed in a couple things with the product. No pole extension like in previous product and battery compartment could be better.

The unit I purchased was defective on receipt. When I contacted Ambient the first hurdle was to convince them that I had not installed it improperly. Pictures and a data record were required. Ultimately it was determined that a factory reset was needed (a several day process). After the reset the unit works properly and I ordered a second console. No instructions were provided for adding it to an existing system
I appreciate the help received, but it should never have been required.

Service as good as the product.

We're enjoying our new weather station. We move from Washington state and there we had a WS-2902C. Also the base and mounting system. One little problem is we wish the screen, monitor was a little bigger, other than that delivery was quick and service was top notch. Thanks, Jim Hopkins

Easy set up

Just what I needed

My WS-2902 weather station stopped reporting both outdoor temperature and humidity. Since the unit is several years old, I thought it needed to be replaced. I called your Customer Service line and the representative was very helpful. He suggested I try could try buying a replacement temperature sensor unit for ($31) instead of buying a new weather station. i did that and my unit is now back working like new. I really appreciate the service I received.

The WM-5's unique jackknife case sets it apart from competitors. By keeping the sensors away from the heat and moisture of the hand, the WM-5 ensures that readings are not influenced by user contact, providing the most accurate measurements possible.

Rugged and Reliable Components

The WM-5 boasts a Honeywell humidity sensor and a Swiss-made barometer, both of which can be easily recalibrated to maintain peak performance. The barometer's weather alert feature triggers when barometric pressure rises or falls by 6 millibars over a 3-hour period, providing users with timely notifications of potential weather changes.

Versatile Mounting and Wind Speed Accuracy

The optional tripod mounting fixture allows users to secure the WM-5 for stationary readings or time-lapse observations. Moreover, the WM-5's wind meters are designed with an impressive wind speed accuracy of better than +/- 3%, ensuring reliable wind data for users.

Durability and Longevity

With a 2-year warranty and a CR-2032 battery, the WM-5 is built to last. Its robust construction and reliable components make it an excellent investment for those seeking a durable, long-lasting weather station.

Quick service !

I received the screen for my weather station rain gauge promptly and no charge for shipping!

Equipment ordering experience simple and efficient.
Equipment delivery on time, all elements received as ordered.

I replaced the thermometer plus rain gauge because it was one piece. Rain gauge worked before the thermometer did not. Put on the new piece. The rain gauge still works. The thermometer does not. I’m not sure where to go from here. I did a complete reset twice on the main system and the thermometer unit itself.

Professional, supportive and helpful. You cannot ask for more

This was a replacement for my ws5000.
We will see how long this one will last

My son is a weather enthusiast, and I can count in Ambient to have what he wants and at a great price.

Best most longest lasting weather station I have owned

I've ordered several times, expanding my sensor array. Every order has shipped either the same or following day. I'm very happy with all of my purchases.

I have had a weather stations for about 5 years. When I moved I purchased a new one. The customer service was excellent when it came to setting it up. Most people probably could of set it up on their own but I am not very technologically knowledgeable. The care and help I received alone would make me stay with this weather station.

Great job packing the item and delivery was fast a free. My weather system is back up and running.

The person I talked to was very helpful. He guided me through the weather station I wanted for a gift.
