I give two stars because the product is currently working. I only give two stars because they apparently have very low quality transformers that frequently fail to work. My prior transformer did not work even being left alone without any wear and tear for ~2 years. The adapter is non-standard even though the specs are shared by a ubiquitous usb transformer. It seems they have poor quality combined with poor design on this.

I have not had it long enough to write a review on it yet. Better instructions would’ve been nice if it would’ve came in the box. I did have to go online and download the manual to finally get stuff working correctly. Did not realize I had to go out and get my longitude and latitude Numbers.

WS 5000 is our 2nd station from Ambient Weather.
WS2000 was purchased in July 2022. Our WS2200 had no issues
on install or really until now, she's starting to fail.
Unfortunately, who ever in conducting your current quality control needs review on WS5000.
Our technician was UNABLE to complete install because of fit and finish issue which prevented the unit to be mounted correctly.
Our first call to technical support wanted us to tap a curved pipe, which was impossible. 2nd call we were to told to send photos to document problematic unit.
I'm only rating 2 TWO, because of the inconvenience of install which if quality control was quality inspection, we would not
have to have technician come back for 2nd time, which costs time and Money.

The packaging was not very good. UPS and FEDEX are not what they used to be. the station was bouncing around in the outer box, no insulation to speak of. this is a gift. I did not hook it up, so not sure if it is in working condition or not.

Reasonable pricing, free shipping and arrived quickly. Great that I could replace parts and not replace the whole weather unit.

Though I haven’t assembled the unit just yet it arrived swiftly and looks very well made I’ll report on the assembly later.
