I’ve own an Ambient Weather station for 8 years along the NC coast. The salty environment is tough on electronics and the rainfall measuring equipment. I was ready to get a whole new station but the sales advisor told me that I could keep my display console and indoors sensor by simply replacing the outdoor array. The new array arrived 3 days later and was simple to replace. The cost was less than half of buying a whole new system. Great service!

Did not record rainfall accurately; I compared readings with my old Ambient. It cost $22.99 to return it; a bad experience all around.

Recently purchased an Ambient Cam Solar camera.
After 3 days of trying to get the confusing software downloaded and installed it works great.
The software needs a lot of work.

The directions that accompanied the WS-2902 Rainspike kit could Be better. A LARGER, exploded diagram of the locking head positioning depicted on page 4,figure 1 to preventincorrect installation on the flexible silicone strips. One zipped, the only way to undo error is to cut it. One of the two zip ties arrived with the sliding head locked in place. I appreciate the quality of the stainless steel but exploded views on locking head orientation is a MUST. I think two zip ties were included because seller anticipated customers making an error on installation. Once locked you CAN'T unzip the zip tie.

Review for the Ambient lightning detector used with WS-5000. Lightning detector works beautifully. I just so happened to install it just a couple of days before a very large thunder storm came through my area. Worked flawlessly. Was cool to see it detect the lightning as I was watching it in person. When I first set it up, it must have detected electronic equipment in my house because it "sensed" multiple strikes on a clear day. After I set it in a good location, it settled in and has worked great since. At first I set the dip switch to indoor setting. This is when it was detection electrical equipment I think. I set it back to default of outdoor setting and it works great. No false readings. Very happy. It was also shipped very quickly. Arrived sooner than expected.

Very disappointed in this product. Has absolutely no value in predicting or forecasting weather in my zip code. My Apple Watch does a better job with reasonable accuracy.

Great company to deal with. Called about an issue and they were prompt to resolve it. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking at getting a weather station.

Terrible instructions all your products. The lack of instructions for how to mount the weather station is completely unacceptable and was grounds for me almost returning the product all together. And I’m not sure at all why your top tier product ws-5000 takes batteries and is not solar powered.
