Just received my new monitor yesterday. Couldn't get it to work. Contacted the customer service depot. He did try to help, just Couldn't get it to work. The AP keeps flashing, he said it would time out, it's still flashing. I did disconnect the power and pressed the reset button, still flashing. Don't know how to proceed. HELP

This is a replacement station and is an improvement over my last one bought about 7 years ago.

Overall the experience was good. Website is easy and informative. Product arrived within reasonable time. Instructions were clear. The weather station is easy to read -- control buttons are on the front and accessible. Operation is pretty straightforward.

WS2000 is a nice weather station, Birds like to stand on the rain funnel (of course!). So everyone needs to buy the BIRD SPIKES or crawl up on the roof and clean it often.
Here's my problem with Ambient ... they charge another $18 for the bird spikes that would cost the less than a dollar to include in the package, So you buy the weather station from Amazon and get it next day, then order the bird spikes directly (they don't sell the bird spikes on Amazon) and wait a week for them to show up.

I like the base weather station, BUT the User Manual is not user friendly and does not clearly explain how to add optional sensors. It’s VERY FRUSTRATING when you purchase hundreds of $dollars$ worth of sensors and can’t figure out how to connect them to your system!!
