Fun EDC Knife

Kershaw Cinder (1025X)
Theres not much to say, it's a compact fun knife. I use it as my keychain EDC now, came sharp enough out of the box to slice through a stack of post-it notes. Only dislike is the blade shape is a little strange, works for what I need it for though!

Its a unique little carry, glad you have good use for it!

Opinel No.7 My First Opinel Blue (1697)
Locking mechanism is very tight. I bought it for my daughter and she can't open it. When it's open, it's great.

Kershaw Inception (2031)
Great knife, more value than I expected. This knife easily competes with higher end knives, it looks good, feels great in the hand and cuts with confidence. I will buy another Kershaw, House of Knives staff were helpful and competent, Thanx.

Benchmade Bugout Ranger Green Grivory (535GRY-1)
Excellent knife. Exactly as advertised. High quality lightweight folder. My first Benchmade knife but easily as good or better than SOG access card and other SOG designs. Higher price for quality knife but the negative reviews that I have seen on Youtube do not apply to me as I wanted a lightweight, quality folder with the axis style lock. The knife weighs basically nothing but is very sturdy.

Kershaw Starter (1301BWX)
Thought it might be too bulky but it is the exact same dimensions as a Kershaw Blur. Love the flipper action. Very smooth. Knife is heavy, but a good heavy. Feels solid in your hand. Not uncomfortable or noticeably heavy clipped in the pocket or inside waistband. Could have used jimping on the frame like the Cryo 2 but still a good grip.

Great Knife. Carried the same one since 2009. Still have it but the hinge is getting worn and a little loose. New one seems just as good for another 15 yrs of use. thanks for such an awesome knife.

Metal is thin and feels cheap. Hinge is loose and poorly attached, doubt it will last very long. Very disappointed

Kizer Mini Sheepdog C01C Aluminum Black (V3488BC2)
Love the Kizer Mini Sheepdog but it leaves me wanting more. I now know that I want this knife in a slightly larger form. Thankfully there are 3 sizes. I think the standard size would be perfect.
However, if this is the size that suits YOUR needs know that it's a FANTASTIC knife! The action is phenomenal with a satisfying, quality feeling "ting". The button lock is smooth to operate. I love the black look and the aluminum scales feel really good in the hand. The blade is pretty slicy, too.
After using the thumb hole for a bit I noticed that the blade started to come off centre (the screw was a little loose from applying sideways pressure to engage the blade). I took it apart, after lubricating everything I added a bit of blue locktite to the main screw and it hasn't loosed at all since.
I'd highly recommend this blade.
House of Knives is an excellent retailer. My last purchase arrived 2 days early and their prices (at least here in Canada) are better than my local retailer across the board.

Kershaw Iridium Reverse Tanto (KE-2038R)
A really great budget knife. Good action, centered blade and surprisingly slim and unobtrusive in the pocket. I only wish it came a litter sharper from factory. Obviously not a big deal. It's sharp enough and can be sharpened. The scales are a bit slick and there's very little jumping but it feels pretty good in the hand. For the money, it's a win.

Yeah, the smaller EDC's tend to be sleeker as they arent designed for hefty use but I do feel like this aluminum gets a little texture with use at least!
