Benchmade Osborne - Green (940)
Great knife for working in the garden. Had a cheap Canadian tire special before and wow what a difference so light and strong it's hard to believe coming from cheap knives. I would recommend to anyone. If the Omega springs break like I read online may happen I may change my review but if not it's a 5 star knife no question.

And even if it does break someday its at least a replaceable part, break the blade would be far sadder

Messermeister Avanta Pakkawood Steak Knife Set 4Pc (L8684-5/4S)
The Avanta easily cuts through a steak with little effort. The non-serrated blade doesn’t tear the meat.

Cool bonus came free with a Civivi Knife purchase. Even comes in a clear plastic collectors case to protect it from my greasy fingers.

Could have been a smidge heavier, other than great

I think they went lighter to emulate the Japanese style, which tend to be cut thinner and feel incredibly light. Its very true though, if your expecting that German heft youll be left wanting more

CIVIVI Tamashii Black G10 (C19046-1)
My first fixed blade from Civivi. It's definitely not a bad knife but I was not as impressed with it as with other Civivi knives and that is probably on me as I've always had folders.
That being said, it is a solid knife that feels good in the hand. The contour of the blade and handle work well (for piercing or slicing). There is sufficient jimping on both the handle and back of the blade for thumb and index finger placement. It arrived with some sort of tassel on the handle which I removed as not practical for daily use. The hole is sufficient for a lanyard.
I know many people like the kydex sheaths but I'm still a bit iffy on it. It does hold the knife firmly so no worry of loss.
I guess my only complaint would be that the handles are quite smooth and feel as though they could get slippery if wet.
Overall, a nice fixed blade that I wouldn't hesitate to recommnend.

NiteCore Tube V2.0 Rechargeable Keychain Light Jacinth (TUBEv2jacinth)
Small little light for your keychain that works quite well. Technically, it has two settings - a low (one click) and a high (two clicks) but if you hold the button down after one click then you can increase the brightness incrementally. It charges using a micro USB connection and while that may seem a bit dated in the age of USB-C, it charges fairly quickly. Doesn't come with a charging cable but most people probably have a few kicking around.
It's thin and light enough that you could carry it in your pocket if you don't want to place it on your keychain.
I bought a few extra to hand out as gifts to friends and family - can't go wrong with knives and lights.
