the web site is excellent. It's very easy to check if your purchase is available at store location near you, if not, on-line purchasing is strait forward and simple. Direct delivery to your nearest store is a plus, no door parcel theft to worry about. Store staff very knowledgeable and friendly.

im not impressed at all. the knife came and didn't have a sheath.
not even some cheap one.
and then i send a email asking if you have one .. you reply were out of stock but heres a link to other knife guards... wait what?.. so you want me to look at other guards that dont work for this knife? .
Over all it would of been nice to know this is not what i saw when i was watching unboxing videos. this is just a cheap version of the original and at this point im wondering if its really made in japan or some cheap knockoff made in usa

We're so sorry to hear that you're not satisfied with the knife. As always, you are welcome to return it for a full refund within 30 days, as per our Return Policy.
However, it seems that there's some confusion here, because the Shun Premier 7" Santoku (TDM0702) you purchased does not come with a sheath and it never has. It only comes with a cardboard sleeve to keep it protected in the box. Because of this, we only meant to suggest some other products that might work with your knife and keep it further protected. I can assure you that all our Shun knives, including this one, come directly from the manufacturer, and are handcrafted in Japan by Shun. We're even listed as an Authorized Shun Dealer on their website.
We really hope this helps clarify the situation. We're proud to be an authorized dealer of Shun knives, and we want to make sure our customers never doubt the integrity of our products.
