As a X1 owner I always choose Luna because of the great prices & because they are one of the few to supply a very capable e-mtb with a THROTTLE. Because of this I can ride my X1 to a fairly capable level , even with my many physical limitations.

My first SurRon had it stock. When I purchased my 2nd SurRon I upgraded to the Fisher Fab headlight. The stock light was removed when mod was done. The stock headlight is a great safety feature since it goes on when you turn the key on. It also looks better with the stock light. The Fisher you have to press the button twice when key is on to turn it on. When you press button 3 times the Fisher is like a search light and the stock headlight fills the edges with light. On the road between trails I just use stock light.

Very happy with my luna charger. Built in gauges are clutch allowing me to see the amperage supplied to the battery and I can see when the battery reaches 58.8v so I know relatively how much more time it takes to get my pack to 100% balanced

I've never had so much fun with a bike! Awesome kit.

After 4 rides with my new X1 all I can say is I love it. Super stable on trail. Great fun to ride. Only issue is that you cannot see the display with polarized sun glasses. Overall I am very impressed.

I got this for my commute to and from work. I'm running it with a luna wolf pup right now, planning to upgrade to the dire wolf. Excellent performance!! I can only imagine how far I'll go with the bigger battery. Installed on a Schwinn Solana Hybrid, was fairly simple after all the research I did on Lunas website. Would definitely buy another!!

About a year ago I bought the other triangle bag (the one with velcro) and it held up for about a year of nearly continuous use. However, the zippers failed about a month ago and I've been limping along, so I decided it was time for a replacement. I bought the zip-tie version this time around and I definitely recommend it over the velcro model. It is a more rigid bag and holds its shape better. It's also a little smaller and fits my bike better. The velcro bag would stick out too far and contact my pedals. I also think the zip tie setup looks sharper than the velcro. However, they both seem to have the same zipper setup so I am worried that if I do not take really good care of those zippers it will fail on me. I recommend that anyone purchasing this bag or the velcro bag try to minimize zipping the zippers around the corners. This was my fail point on the previous bag.

Sur Ron x we had for a few weeks was so good we bought a second. Great value for what it can do!

I'm 70 this year. Used to race off road events. Currently own 3 KTM's, a DRZ400, BMW K1200S and Ninja 650. Saw videos of the Sur Ron doing well and even besting serious dirt bikes on single track trails. We own a home in Saddlebrooke AZ, out in the desert. The Sur Ron X has been the perfect fix for a dash out onto local trails for exciting fun without nasty looks. People who see it stop me and want to know about it, then they want one.
Should you buy one, I found some Cycra Pro Bend hand guard knock offs on Amazon for just over $30. Sur Ron bars are thinner than motorcycle bars. The mounts that go into the bars have to be modified. Cycra has a $10 kit for the bar ends. Use the 2 larger expanders and cones. The stock bolts will thread into the Cycra cones. Discard the 2 outer 2" split sleeves. Make 2 more from 3/4 inch thin wall tubing and split like the discarded ones. Cut an inch from the inner split tube to make room for the Cycra expander. Put it all together. It will make sense laid out in front of you. Finally, I used self binding silicon tape where the bar clamps go. The bars taper. This tape lets you allow for that. I think the guards are Must Have to protect the levers and hydraulics. (price'm) Also, Amazon had a Meachow left side mirror for $17. Looks sharp, works well and stays put.
Still need a front fender. The KTM 85 SX front fender looks like it will work. Acerbis makes one I'm going to try.
The reviews on Luna and my own experience line up. If you're on the fence, go for it. I never thought I would see something like this in my lifetime (considering my age). Mike Regan

Exceeds my expectations in pretty much every respect. Quality appears very high. Everything is straight, centered, etc. Fasteners are hard and fit well. Vehicle dynamics are excellent -- a really inviting bike to ride. I fitted a higher handlebar, hand guards and a front fender. More mods may come but only after some more experience.

My research into this product inspired confidence in its design integrity and quality. I was not disappointed. This is an outstanding product and a bargain at that.

The performance is surprising. It will climb any incline with sufficient traction. It goes as fast as I want to in the dirt. It's much easier to control with the 110lb weight. The range is right at 40 miles on level surfaces from my experience.

Overall a bargain quality product.

Great little fender, helps keep mud off the shock. Easy install.

I wasn't really thinking of an ebiket but when I tried to sell one of my mountain bikes the buyer wanted measurements of the bike to see if it could be converted to an ebike. Well he unfortunately gave me the link to Luna Cycles and I decided to keep my bike and convert it myself. Best thing I have ever done to a bike!! A couple of friends got "real" ebikes (big bucks!) and they struggle to keep up with the BBSHD! HA HA!

I got this driver freewheel to enable putting a drive chain on my Luna cyclone mini with custom Luna motor mounts And the Lunatic chain wheel.
With the stock 14 tooth gear it was impossible to get a half link chain on without so much slack that the idler touched the chain wheel.
It works great with the 13 tooth!

Everything as advertised. Easy, quick.
