Wonderfully built snow machine@@

Received the bike from Fedex with damage to one hand-grip, two tie-wraps securing the battery broke loose and the rear wheel knocked out of alignment. I informed Luna about the damage and they quickly sent the replacement hand-grip and tie-wraps. I will have a local bike shop align the rear wheel and Luna says that they will reimburse me for the costs.

I took my first spin and what a thrill it was, pedaling is effortless as the motor instantly kicks in thrusting the bike forward. The thumb throttle is a life saver when climbing hills as you stop pedaling to allow the motor to push you forward. Try climbing the hills without the motor...good luck! lol...I know first hand because I ran the battery dead and had to pedal, walk and drag my butt and the bike about 1 mile to my house. Won't let that happen again! I really appreciate the motor. The motor has so much power and torque that you better respect it and if you are not careful it will throw you off the bike before you realize what happened...I know this first hand, this bike has power to spare.
What I like best about the bike is that you can go places that you just can't with a car or by foot. I have lived in the same house for 30 years and it wasn't until I got the bike that I discovered this eucalyptus forest with trails about 1/2 of a mile from my house. This bike is so much fun to ride. The fat ass tires feel like you are riding on a cushion, absorbing all the bumps. I did change the skinny hard seat and replaced it with a wider seat that has a nice cushion and it makes a world of difference...no sore butt anymore.

Great service from Luna

This was a fun project. I had no prior experience. I purchased the Bafang BBSHD Mid Drive Kit, Luna Full Color Display, Luna Wolf Pack-Samsung 30q 12AH 52V battery pack, the stock thumb throttle, and the Ebrake cutoff. My donor bike was a 2016 Electra Townie. It came with the Shimano Nexus Series which included roller brakes and an 8 speed internal hub. The single chain gear on the rear simplified potential alignment problems. Luna was very helpful online. If you want to talk to someone on the phone, good luck. That said, they are very prompt with the instant chat. The kit came with everything I needed except a few tools I needed (metric allen wrenches, Luna Tool, chain breaker, crank puller, etc.). If you are riding the fence about building an ebike, don’t be. If I can do it, you can too.

Luna Cycle has been great with tech support, easy ordering, easy returns, great help with trouble shooting. A+ Company that is a pleasure doing business with. Recommended to a hunting Buddy currently building his own hunting rig. Would recommend to anyone looking to build an eBike.

The Luna 48T Chainring looks amazing but more importantly works amazingly.

Great! Bike arrived early and ready to ride!

Quick shipping, quality products. Thanks Luna!

Built my first Luna bike 2 years ago, since have ridden 5k mikes and have built 5 more for friends.....thanks Luna you have changed my life as well as many many more people who are enjoying ebiking...RideOn!!!

RSD Mayor build with a Luna Hot Rod BBSHD and Vee Tire Snowshoe 2XL’s. Super fun to ride and rolls over just about everything. Thanks Luna!

I wanted to build a fat ride with that could share my commuter battery pack, had a wiggle free battery cradle, hidden and protected wiring and no un-slightly zip ties. Luna Cycle was one stop shopping for what I needed. The BBSHD kit even came with the needed bottom bracket shims for a perfect chain line. I am able to use all 10 gears the rear cassette. Donor bike is a Gravity Monster with a RST front suspension fork.
Happy Customer Here!

Quick delivery and the best price anywhere.

Excellent of course. The Luna family is simply the best.
I'm still building; I enjoy the project more than the rides sometimes...

After a couple of builds with another brand, I was contacted by a local bike shop to troubleshoot a Luna bike they were having issues with. Up until then I felt Luna
was just another California component reseller. After taking care of a demanding customer in a very timely and professional manner, I bought a Luna dashboard, also a bottom bracket tool and will get all my Ebike supplies from Luna. Keep up what you are doing and thanks again Luna.

Good items close to us.

Hard to squeeze info from employees. Too concerned with selling kits. Honestly ala carte parts combos work just fine for me. My motor will go under the seat however because of parts availablity I will need to purchase the double sprocket motor mount and battery connector from the competition. Pleased with price. Still need to bench test the unit.

I purchase a 42 tooth chain ring with 9 mm offset that will not work with a 10 speed cassette. Installed the 46 tooth that came with the kit. Waiting for the Luna Eclipse 42 wth 24 mm off set. Over all very happy with the build, fast and fun. After The new Luna Eclipse is installed the line up will be much better and hopefully no more chain throws.

Got everything from luna cycles on black friday. Had it installed in a couple of hours. Tidying up wires took more time than installing the engine. 30 tooth mighty mini is a hill climbing machine.

This comfortable trike is what you need to travel long distances . The large seat and semi horizontal paddling position allows you to paddle for 12 hours a day . this bike is able to do 600 km per day. The generator in the trailer keeps the battery voltage full continuously allowing the trike to travel 24 / 7 . This is accomplished by a 250 V generator supplying power to a 36 V 40 amp 1200w charger . The wires from the charger are hardwired into the Harness after the batteries a second charger goes into the battery allowing the charging to reach maximum voltage . The generator is able to provide power at the rate of 60 km/L on full out put

Everything went as planned..
