I've lost weight, breathing improved, despite being hit twice by a car in the last year and hurt seriously both times life threatening once - I'm still riding. I've replaced most trips previously done via mass transit with bike both with and without trailer.

Love the display accurate and bright. Chain ring and adapter allowed me to run a double chain ring on my cargo bike.

I put the Luna 120mm BBSHD kit on this Motobecane NightTrain Bullet Titanium fat bike, and it's pretty great. I'm now riding to work without sweating for the next hour after I arrive. This means that I ride my 2000 eMPG ebike to work more than my inefficient 15 mpg pickup truck. On the way home, I can go for it and get a work out. I know a lot of bikers that think the motor is cheating, but if you like to pedal hard, the motor just lets you go faster. What is more, if you want to ride without pedal assist or throttle, the motor doesn't negatively affect the pedaling action. When I go for rides with my dog, I'm hitting 20-25 mph without pedal assist on the flat with the 42T chain ring and my SRAM eagle cassette.

The battery life with the Wolf Pack is better than I expected, and I'm glad that I didn't get a heavier triangle pack. I'm still above 90% after my 10 mile round trip commute.

Getting the BBSHD to fit was much easier than I thought it would be, thanks to all of the online guides. I custom cut the drive side bottom bracket spacer (13.5 mm) using my miter saw, a blade for cutting aluminum from the local hardware store, and an aluminum pipe from McMaster that I bought for under $10. The chain line is pretty darn good, given that 13.5 mm spacer. I can reliably use gears 3-12 on my cassette without throwing the chain. I can always rearrange the cassette if I want access to the monster 50T hill-climber.

The wiring was dead simple. The connectors were pre-attached to the wires and color-coded. The lengths of the wires were amazingly good for my bike. When I had question about how to hook up a sensor, a quick search of the Luna site yielded an answer 100% of the time.

The only major challenge I'm facing is that my bike necessitates a huge spacer on the drive side, which makes it so my ankle occasionally hits the crank. This isn't Luna's fault, it's mine because I knew that others had posted this issue about the bike I installed the BBSHD on. I do think I can fix it by grinding some material off of the inner side of the Lekkie crank.

Minor challenges include the overly-sensitive brake sensors, the gear shift sensor install which requires removing some sheathing, and the battery tends to slide down the magnets. Thus far, I've found it pretty easy to live without the gear shift sensor. I'm going to try stronger magnets with the hydraulic brake sensors, and am doubling up on cable-ties for the battery.

Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase and with the team at Luna. Thank you!

Love the bike with a few mods I made it mine.

i love my folding electric bike and my other electric bikes also. The folding build was a non problem build. No need to worry about bottom bracket fitting or chain line being off. I do have a lekkie chain ring I have not installed yet. Everything works perfect, but wheelies very easy so be careful if you build a folding bike, much more power than you would think even with BBS02.

The Forest Service has been thinning the thick brush/understory trees outside of Prescott to reduce the risk of wildfires. The slash piles are burned by fire crews after they dry out. It seemed like a waste for all that good oak to be burned, so I removed the wood from the piles (legally with permit) for other projects and burning in my wood stove at home. The mid-drive with the 30T chainring on my bike was just what I needed to get the wood back to my truck from deep in the forest.

While this is just my "test" frame as it is my first build, I think it turned out well. It is a cheap "Wally World" Jimmy Buffet Cruiser bike. I removed the rear cog and went with a Nexus 3 IGH, built new front and rear wheels, added front light, rear running and brake light, turn signals in handlebar grip ends, modified an Alexa Moto Z3 speaker mod as a phone mount, deleted brake cuttoffs, and display(prefer phone). Throw in the BBSHD and Panasonic 25R 25ah battery and Luna chainring and it becomes a 40mph+ bike I not only enjoy riding, but enjoy how much it gets others to approach me to talk about it. I ride this thing everywhere. It gets used more often than my tuck. Thank You Luna!!

I love my new Sur Ron x. I received my bike within a few days and it came very neatly packed and secured. Assembly was easy and I was out riding the bike within 45 min. I loved the whole exp with Luna cycle and will continue to purchase upgrades for my sur Ron x.

This is my second Luna Cycle bike having bought a KHS full suspension plus bike a couple years ago. Luna Cycle has definitely upgraded their shipping process--this bike arrived in a sturdy box (labeled LCD TV!) and packed secure. KHS makes fabulous bikes and this fat tire bike is great for biking on snow covered roads and trails here in Breckenridge. I did not get the ludicrous option and have no regrets--there is plenty of power very any steep terrain we have out here. The optional suspension fork and my adding a thud buster really smooths the ride. I get comments all the time on the bike and have probably generated a few sales for Luna! All together, a super bike and impressed with the folks at Luna.

This is my third build. I built the first one so my wife could ride with me as we cycle a lot each summer. I built this one so I can ride with my wife. The ebike allows us to cover a lot of ground and enjoy the ride regardless of conditions. Once again the power and range is unbelievable. This build was pretty straight forward as were the last two. A little experimentation with shims and chain alignment were required. I am going to change the front chain ring to give me a little better performance. I still have to change the grips to a short pair as this bike has a dropper seat and a thumb throttle so the bars are getting pretty crowded.

This is my second build. My first was a Norco Storm. This is a Norco Fat and it was a little more complicated than the first. We had to do some fine tuning with shims and had to modify the water bottle inserts to make the battery fit. Once it was all together it became an awesome ride. It is a weapon actually! Attracts a lot of attention and top speed is definitely above the road legal limit. Even with the large tires and higher wattage motor I am still getting 50-60 miles per charge.

This is a Norco Storm Hardtail. A perfect bike for a conversion. The whole process took 45 minutes. Went together exactly as described on your website. It was a little anticlimactic actually. I built this bike for my wife in March so we could ride together through the summer. We put over 1000 miles on it. She actually went on a tour with a bunch of hard core roadies and had way more fun than they did! Power is excellent and she is getting well over 100 kms (60 miles) per charge. It worked so well I started an ebike company up here in Orillia Ontario Canada.

This project was pretty easy to install, once I learned how to measure!
Read up, get decent tools and take your time. You WILL be rewarded!
Although the factory 42 tooth could have been adapted, I love the extra torque with the stock Bafang 46 tooth, plus I actually like the looks on this bike.

I am going to use my Dolphine style 52 volt 14 ah battery from my dual motor to power your mid drive.and will just run the 72 volt 3000 watt rear motor on my SIKK fat bike . Fantastic, Luna was great with advice prior to purchase and BBS02 is all it is cracked up to be and more. Delivery was on time and BBS02 went in like they were built for each other

I electrified my hybrid commuter with the 750W BBS02 kit when my office moved and my commute became much longer. The installation went mostly smoothly. The only hiccup was that I had to space out the 48T chainring with stacks of 4 washers to get clearance from the chainstay. Other than that, it's been smooth sailing. I've gotten around 50 miles from the 13.5 aH shark pack on the first few charges to 100%, which is more than enough.
