48-52v 750w Geared Fat Motor Kit (for front wheel)
I originally bought a mid drive kit. Guess what it won’t fit this bike because of the eccentric bottom bracket. Because of the Alfine internal hub I could not use rear hub motor. My only remaining choice was a front hub motor. It was difficult to get the motor to fit as it did not come with much in the way of spacers. I sourced some 3 and 5 mm spacers online. The available torque arm also will not fit this frame. Got a couple of torque arms from Grin that work perfectly. Luna support has been extremely helpful, thanks. Maiden voyage topped out at 37 mph downhill. Pulled my large but up hills with no issues. Now to find that MB for the mid drive.

Luna Eclipse ChainRing for the BBSHD
I have the luna eclipse chain ring on the luna bbshd. After regreasing the motor with Mobil 1 I have over 3000 miles on it with no noises whatsoever, compared to the bbs02 that whined with well under 1000 miles. The eclipse chain ring is by far better then the lekkie. Plus with the replaceable teeth you dont have to buy a whole new chain ring when the teeth wear out. And as always luna has the best customer service in the game. 10/10 will buy again

LUNA FUSION: WOLF 52v 13.5AH GA - STEALTH BLACK
This was my first attempt at building an ebike, a pre-retirement project. The body slows down over the years, but the freedom of the open road is hard to give up, hence the added ease of an ebike. The build for this bike exceeded expectation in the adaptability of programming to exploit the geometry of gearing and bike setup for speed, battery duration, and riding conditions.
I was able to gear the drive and redo the rear freewheel for minimal shifting needs across conditions ranging from grass to dirt, sidewalk, and high speed road bike lanes. The 52 volt wolf battery was worth the investment, as was the extensive research which steered me to Luna to provide the BBSHD kit and battery and support documentation. Minor tweaking of their hotrod programming has suited my riding conditions very well with ranges exceeding 60 miles with conservative use of assist.

48V Panasonic GA 18650 10ah Pack PERFORMANCE + LIGHTWEIGHT
Everything fit right out of the box and my only problem was getting the rt.side bearing retainer off (righty/loosey, d'oh!). Had to grind off part of the chain guard mount. Motor fit 120mm bottom bracket with no shims, and sprocket lned up with rear perfectly. Single speed; does about 30 mph on flat ground and climbs my steep driveway at about 15.
Will probably switch to regular mountain bike due to no suspension, no tread, and, critically, single rear brake.

Cyclone Mid Drive 3000 watt Planetary Ebike KIT
I ordered a carbon frame, forks and wheel hubs to use and my building block. I then ordered the cyclone mid drive 3000w kit for the power, I added a triangular 52v 15ah battery to complete the build. I have always ordered from Luna Cycle so I knew the parts would arrive and they would be of superior quality. The build was challenging as it was my first from ground up build however, Luna came through and delivered again. The bike is awesome, with 9 speed conventional gears to deliver an all round experience.

48v Panasonic GA 17.5ah Black Killer Whale Ebike Pack Huge Range!
Unfortunately my initial experience purchasing a battery from Luna was not too good. The battery was defective and it took several weeks and multiple emails to sort out the problem. Luna did arrange to have me return the battery and promptly sent a new battery that works as expected. The end result exceeded my expectations, but I wish that the process had gone more quickly. I want to give a special thank you to Gary who did his best to educate me about the complexities of the electric bike conversion process and gave me some counseling how to navigate the world of online sales.

Bafang Hydraulic and Disc Brake Sensors E-Brake (Pair)
Great service, even better products! BBSHD hot-rod on a 2017 29er Kona hard-tail. 52v shark pack, 42t Luna eclipse, Gear sensor, brake sensors, Shimano sTePs cranks, SE bear trap pedals, Maxxis DHF/R tires. Too much fun to drive my car anywhere if it's not raining, cheaper too!

Bafang BBSHD Mid Drive Ebike Kit
Luna Cycle bafang mid drive is bad ass. I’m loving the PAS. It makes paddling in my hilly community a breeze. Road cycling is fun again for me. Hills wore me down, not anything more with the mid drive PAS. Been riding only a month and already have over 150 miles on my new mid drive motor.

Black XT90 Connector (male and female set)
At the advice of many on the electricbike.com forums, I chose to buy the 42t Luna Eclipse chainring and xt90 connectors for my upcoming ebike build. The Eclipse is unbelievably lightweight and beautiful, the silver color matches that of my donor bike perfectly. The black xt90 connectors are cool, the color will help them blend in with the cabling on my bike. I only had one minor problem with the connectors, which was fixed by Luna Cycle's excellent support team in only a few days. A big thank you to Luna Cycle for these high-quality components!

Luna Wolf 52v Ebike Battery
I built this commuter myself out of a motobecane hybrid I bought new and a bbshd kit from Luna cycle. Both Luna wolf battery and bbshd motor have worked flawlessly. Plenty of power for the hilly Terrain I live in. Luna accessories exceptional as well. Ride to work every day is a breeze for this 61 year old. People constantly stopping me to ask about my ebike. Have easily carried my Hundred 95 pound frame plus a 50 to 60 pound load on the back, no problemo. Love the fact that my Luna wolf 52 volt battery is made in the US. Keep it up Luna cycle and thanks.

48v Panasonic 13.5ah Shark Pack
Luna package came with 1 missing part but Luna stood behind their product and shipped the missing part. Integrity. it took 12 hours to attach the BBSHD but if I had to do it again it would be half that time. Considering getting a second motor kit for my mountain bike.

Torque Wrench For Bafang Mid Drives
I chose to use a bike that had Avid Hydraulic Disk Brakes and Shimano Deore XT derive components to accommodate the speed and torque of this motor. When I was doing 45 mph on a decent the other day, I was glad I did.
