I was terrified to drop 4g on a Chinese bike. It's not that Chinese products are poorly made....its that they can be.
Sur Ron is in this game for real. The overall bike is fantastic. Its exactly what I wanted for my purpose.

I cannot exclaim enough that this bike is fan farting tactic for trailing. I am going to buy another so I can ride with friends and family......plus it gives me another battery!!!

Received the unit in good condition. I purchased an inexpensive kit with necessary tools to remove crank and derailer from Amazon. I had to mid motor installed within a half day. After the battery was received, purchased from Amazon, it took only a short time to connect all wiring. The brackets for the display had a larger diameter than the handlebars and I had to makeshift a way to control the fit with some rubber tubing which I had available.
I have been pleased with the variable assist settings as we bike mostly in a mountain area on local trails. Would recommend a mid-mount system over a front or rear motor for conversion of an existing bike.

Everything I needed to make this a plug and play installation, came with my recommended Luna kit and battery pack.

To mount a bbshd on a trek top fuel 9.9 2008 is perfect because it was the last year Trek used a standard bottom bracket. I put the battery in a backpac so the bike is not too heavy. There is no problem to mount a bbshd on a carbon bike. Luna cycle is greatly helpful to complete my bike with extension cable, spacers, lights, etc. Love my bike and very proud of it.

I was able to build, through Luna Cycle, an e-bike that has performance and range. All this with reliable components. Very happy

Received my BBs02 kit way faster than expected. Easy to find instructional videos on the website and Youtube. About 250 miles in to bike commuting and loving it. I should have went with the 52T chainring since I'm on roads and looking for top speed.

I spent months researching e-bikes from every brand I could find. And although this is my first real ebike I've had nothing but great experiences from Luna. Their shipping method is genius and they have great customer support. As stated on their website each bike they sell will require some hands on maintenance and maybe not for amateur riders however, it is easy to learn. This was a large purchase for me and I was nervous up until the day I received the bike. Easily does 25 mph + . And i like to ride with dirt bikes on the trails and while I can't race them I can keep up. The bike is basically silent and that opens up all kinds of places to ride! I love this bike and company and would highly recommend them! Just remember to be respectful and safe especially on roads! I live in Thailand, and have been following Luna for a long time, but because of the difficulties and expense of shipping ebike products from the US to Thailand with our 70% plus duties, this is my first purchase from their store.
Ordering from Luna was a simple, and seamless process on their website. They provided detailed information on the product, with great downloads available to assist in programming the gauge, and the installation onto the bike or scooter.
Following the order and payment, I received excellent confirmation information via email, and tracking information for US Postal service, and my order was dispatched within 24 hours.
Tracking information was excellent and I received the well packed package safely within 10 days to our home in Thailand.
The Luna Battman gauge was very easy to install and connect into the scooter wiring, thanks to Luna's excellent online instructions, and was easily fitted in place on the scooter handlebars. The speed sensor magnets were expoxied onto the rear alloy wheel of the scooter, and the sensor tie wrapped to the rear triangle.
Everything worked perfectly and the unit was easy to connect to a PC for setting up the parameters, after downloading a zip file provided by Luna for the purpose.
The Battman is a really great addition for an electric scooter, and accurately displays all the information you could need to monitor the SOC of your battery, and you can connect to your PC to review battery stats and performance at any time.

The BBSHD Kit with the Killer Whale battery is definitely living up to expectations. Lots of power when you need it and plenty of range with the KW battery depending on how much pedal assist and speed you require.

A nice side effect to riding the ebike is that I find myself riding my normal bike faster to get the same feel of wind and motion. I was afraid this bike might make me lazy!

I’m gonna rate my experience with Luna as a 5/5 just because they have been so easy to work with and this ebike build has been extremely fun despite any problems I’ve had along the way. There is a really steep learning curve that comes along with projects like this.

I have the 60V 24ah battery with a Cyclone 3000 motor on my Micargi Sluggo fat tire bike. When it goes, it really goes. I have a problem where trying to start out going up hills or starting with the gear ratio set a little too high the bike just dies. Normally I can just unplug the battery from the motor then plug it back in and everything works just fine again. Yesterday it quit working and my unplug method didn’t work. Walked my bike all the way home, plugged the battery in, and now it works just fine. I’m guessing the charger reset the BMS somehow.

In any case, I’m posting my story to possibly help other people who may have similar issues. I love this bike and chalk my issues up to user error. I’m by no means an ebike master yet but this Luna project has been one of the most fun learning experiences I’ve had.
