Luna is the best one stop shop for all Surron needs, excellent customer service

I believe there are 3 important parts to consider in a review. All of equal proportions. Product, company and customer service.

Rating the product I would place it at a 4/5. The bike is excellent quality wise, it is lots of fun and it seems like it will hold up well for years. Front suspension is a little lacking in quality but still relatively good and will get the job done. Company; 2/5 first, their hours are a joke. Customer service rep is probably their mechanic. Not the greatest ability to hear and offer a solution to an upset customer. Their business practice is shady at best. They hide behind the fine print of “we specify that suspensions often change across each production line” - not good enough and that’s a BS excuse. You need to take charge of your business and either list the current suspension you are shipping or reach out to the customer to let them know which suspension they are getting before shipping. We are buying a $4400+ bike. This isn’t a snickers bar, this is a large sum of money for some people.

I believe Luna is at its pinnacle point in this day and age. They are the exclusive surron distributor and because of this I believe they feel they have the ability to one dismiss a customers complaint or come across with this holier than thou attitude. If you think you’re in the bike business, you’re wrong. You are in the customer service business. Competition is starting to come out with comparable bikes such as the Talaria which is on par with the surron in performance and price.

Tighten up your process and treat people the right way or else someone else is going to eat your lunch. You are only who you are because you are an exclusive seller.

This leaves me to my last category: customer service. I would rate this a 3/5. 3 because they do get back to you in a reasonable time and do seem to respond 8/10 times. The reason why this is not a 5 is because they just don’t know how to deal with a customer. Again, I suspect this is probably because they have someone such as a mechanic or some other employee handling this that is not trained to be customer facing.

Total is 9 points out of 15 which gives Luna cycles a 3/5 at best. I would probably not do business with them again in the future. The other reason I would is because of an exclusive product. There are alternatives which i am looking forward to.

Placed direct order (in stock) for my sur ron x and had it at my door in 11 days. That includes thanksgiving and black friday the week after I ordered it. So far loving it and although its dark at 430 and dealing with work ive got 30 miles on it already.

The whole purchase and shipment process was easy and I felt like I knew where my bike was the entire time. Loving the SurRon and Luna's customization (lighting) and support. I also ordered the extra battery which came securely and well packaged. Excellent support and service by Luna Cycle.
