I researched several systems on-line after having a quad by-pass heart surgery and was brain dead for thirty minutes. I am also a brittle diabetic so an alert system was needed by myself and family. I selected Medical Care Alert after reviewing all products of others and the different systems offered by Medical Care Alert. Unfortunately when I ordered the system it was the wrong one and with just a phone call and free shipping I got what I needed. I am very pleased with the cost-the easy ayssembly and hook-up and the quick rersponse I get when checking my system twice a week. I would recommend Medical Care Alert to those who need a system to assist them when needed due to their health.

Had problems setting the unit up. Had to have someone help me. Used a tech over the phone to finish set up and to test the device. Not too difficult to set up and use. Have tested it but not used it in an emergency. Am confident it will work when I need it. The tech thought a green light had to be on and we wasted a lot of time and effort finding out that it worked on yellow, which mine showed. Other then that it was easy to set up. Too bad I had to move furniture so many time to plug and unplug and find different places to plug it in I was tired when I got done!

I had been dealing with Lainie with the purchase of this product. She explained the product and I let her know that I was looking @ a couple more systems and that I would let her know when I made a decision either way. I also told her that I do not like to be hounded by sales people (which I had told the other sales people I was dealing with, but they called every day) Lainie is awesome, she emailed and asked if I had any questions and we comunicted by email a couple of times, and in my opinion I think she is a great asset to your company. As of right now we like the system, thank GOD we have not had to use it at this time. I also purchased on for my mother in law.

I looked into several systems which were advertised and found that the Medical Care Alert best fitted my needs. Additionally, in speaking with Lainie regarding the system was a real pleasure and weighed heavily in my choice. She was not pushy, pleasantly answered my questions and was very informative. This differed from my experience with another system's representative. Unfortunately, we ran into a problem with delivery which was due to the USPS but everyone at MCA was very helpful in getting the system to me. They were also a great help to me in getting the system properly set up. I highly recommend that anyone thinking of purchasing an alert system consider going with Medical Care Alert.

Unfortunately I was disapointed in the size of the device. I had a system that was the size of a watch. This system was thick like a mini cell phone. I understand it would have more features with the microphone in the device I would wear but the size was unacceptable. With all the new technology- even saw an article in newpaper that may have computers the size of a watch. Better luck next time. Sent the system back and am waiting for my refund. Hopefully will receive it shortly.

I have been investigating the various companies that offer the medical alert system, for at least a year, but did not follow through as the salesmen contacted were far too aggressively pushy, making the experience unpleasant.
I finally found Medical Care Alert system and Jessica, their representative was very well informed, very helpful and not pushy.
I finally decided to order this system. It was installed this week,and it is working.
I tested it all over my home and it functioned everywhere.
I just hope that I will never need to use it but its definitely reassuring to have it as a personal safety net.
