One day I fell in the house & couldn't get up (heard that story before, haven't you?). I pushed my medical alert button & told the dispatcher " I have fallen & my husband is in the far corner of the yard with his cell phone. Would you please call him & tell him I am not hurt, but would he please come help me up. ". She did & checked on me a few minutes later. Then my daughter called about me & I asked her how she knew about this. She said The alert dispatcher called her to let her know of the situation. I felt good that I had that little button around my neck.

Pros: Had service for 2 years. Response for health emergencies and excellent customer service is excellent.
Cons: Equipment: Equipment needs daily charging which takes overnight. The call button is raised and sets the unit off if brushed. The standard lanyard hangs the unit at table height often triggering the unit seated. An adjustable lanyard is now available. Occasional false fall detections. FYI: False calls can be cancelled by user if you are fast enough..
Services: The annual cost for this company is in the upper end of the scale. Cancelling calls is a laborious process. No other ancillary services are provided -i.e. directions, etc.
On a single occasion in 2 years a false alarm gave my position as being ~20 miles away at home from my actual location.
Overall I am pleased with the service as they are very dependable, prompt, and provide excellent customer service.
