Way too cumbersome for residents of American House Sterling meadows. Residents need to press an alert and be taken care of by the existing 24/7 medical team instead of going through Medical Care Alert. I would be happy to discuss further with you.

Hi, thanks for your note. We have set the system to notify Balanced Home Care upon any button press. They are notified immediately via text message. Our operator will speak over the 2-way voice speakerphone and ask the resident if they need help. Based on their answer we will then call Balanced Home Care to relay the request. In the event BHC does not answer their phone after three call attempts, we will then call you to relay the request. If you have any questions please call 877-913-3680 and ask for Sue at ext. 830. The lock box would not open. Called customer support they said that it did open, it was checked before it left their facility. I suggested that the code number was transposed. Impossible. Guess what, the code number was transposed.

Patient has hearing aids and had difficulty understanding commands. She knows she must identify herself first. I’m not sure if she will answer the following questions accurately however. Overall she’s happy with the size of the device and ease of use. She feels much safer when she’s left alone for short periods of time. Thank you!
