Just what I needed for my mom. It works exactly as described. The only draw back is it is heavier than most with all the technology included in the device.

Initially spoke to a salesperson - she was very nice and very well informed about the product. Customer Service is excellent. They answer quickly without me being on hold and listening to music for 10 minutes. Also very helpful. I like the product because you can speak directly to the medical team through the device on the lanyard around your neck.

After checking out many systems I decided to go with a Medical Care Alert system for my folks. One of the main determining factors for us was the ability to communicate directly to the emergency service through the pendant. With my father being hard of hearing, this was a key factor compared with most of the other providers. Great device. Works as advertised. A few day after activation my wife fell while outdoors. Fortunately I was nearby to witness the event. Before reaching her I could hear a voice asking if she needed medical assistance. In a few seconds we were able to assure Medical Care Alert that the situation did not warrant medical attention. Naturally, this experience solidified our complete trust in the MCA system. We highly recommend the MCA system. especially the addendum of the fall alert feature.

We purchased this product for my mother in law who lived in a state over a thousand mile away from family. Until her home sold we were unable to move her to a closer location.
