Walnut End Grain Butcher Block Countertop
We recently purchased an endgrain walnut countertop for our kitchen. We've been doing the work ourselves and Hardwood Lumber Company's product is the icing on the cake. The 30" x 36" x 2.25" top sits on the small island. It arrived in perfect condition, was smooth as silk and ready to go. We oiled it ourselves and it looks fantastic. It is the thing we hope people notice when they enter the kitchen. It's beautiful!

Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba) Wide Plank (Face Grain) Countertop
The Brazilian cherry is really beautiful. I've had the sample for a while now and it does darken over time but that is what we want. Because of it's color, density, and closed grain it is perfect for food prep areas. We chose it for an island and pull out table and finished it with a hardwax oil so it would retain it's natural appearance. It looked completely different when it arrived unfinished, very light and kind of washed out, but as soon as we applied the finish the grain and beautiful color popped right out. A complete transformation.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review! We are so glad to hear that you are pleased with the Brazilian cherry. We are thrilled that you chose it for your kitchen and that it has transformed with the hardwax oil. We are confident that it will continue to be a beautiful and functional addition to your kitchen for many years to come.
