Red Oak Stair Tread
The custom stair tread order came in on time and the product exceeded my expectations with minimal prep work. Measurements were spot on.
Most importantly the grain pattern flowed perfectly being a glue up and every tread was flat with no cupping.
I would definitely deal with the Hardwood Company again.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hickory countertop. We apologize that the 1/4 rounded edge was not done as you expected. After reviewing your order, it appears that the 1/4" radius edge detail was not selected at the time of purchase. We take pride in the quality of our products and we are sorry that this time it did not meet your standards.

Premium Walnut Wide Plank (Face Grain) Countertop
We ordered our countertop unfinished so we could do the teak oil method and we adore it! We also ordered our countertop with the hand-planed option to align with our antique, nature inspired aesthetic. The investment is absolutely worth it. This countertop will last for generations.

Round Premium Walnut Wide Plank (Face Grain) Table Top
I should have looked into what the depth of the 'bevel' on the edge would be, so the disappointment was my own fault. However, I asked that the finisher go light on the stain, and there is no way that was done. It is a quality piece, but I'll likely refinish it in the near future to actually let some of the wood grain show through.

Knotty Pine Wide Plank (Face Grain) Countertop
I used this 1 1/4" thick stock to make 2 heavy duty Rustic Speaker Wall Shelves. H Lumber cut 2 rectangles 15 x 24 to the exact width & length I asked and sanded to perfection without loosing any thickness. Then I just put a nice routered edge myself and added large fancy wooden shelf brackets. I made sure I got my full 1 1/4 thickness and I did. The Pine stock they used was as good #2 Pine (with minimal knots) as is available. In fact I bought from them because all similar products from Lowes etc. was vastly inferior and unstable. The build and shipping was unexpectedly very fast about 2 weeks. Great job HL !

White Oak Wide Plank (Face Grain) Countertop #1823 (1.75"-48"-68")
What a lovely countertop. It was shipped well boxed and protected on a pallet. It’s big and heavy, so you have to be prepared for receiving it. There was definitely “good” side. It was flat, square, and sanded when it arrived, but it took a bit of sanding to get it as smooth as I wanted it to be (ending with P400 sandpaper). I finished it with Tung oil thinned with D-limonene. I’m very pleased with the whole process and I’d buy again from Hardwood Lumber.
