I anticipate this being a 5-star product once installed, but I’m holding off on a full rating for now.
I noticed minor issues with both items: one has a visible scuff on the underside, and the other has significant color variations on the bottom face. Fortunately, the 'show' sides look great, so these flaws will be hidden once installed. I was expecting a bit more consistency based on the sample photos, but I understand that one side is typically prioritized over the other.

overall satisfied with the service. I’ve only ordered samples so far, received one already and it is beautiful, waiting on 2 more. i expect them to look just as nice as the first which will make my decision that much harder to choose between the different woods. This is one of the only place i could find that had a great selection of different woods. If you want something different form the normal wood countertops, this is the place.

We received our countertop today and it is quite impressive how absolutely gorgeous it is! The color is warm and inviting. The finish is perfectly smooth and feels great to the touch. Although it's butcher block, we don't intend to use it as a cutting surface and I'm glad we made that decision before we ordered it because I don't think I could bring myself to cut on it.

Quality products, excellent customer service, quick shipping! All qualities that make this company top-notch. I ordered 10 retrofit stair treads in hickory and at 53" wide. They arrived by UPS in just over three weeks. After a light hand-sanding, I stained them and applied fours coats of poly before installing them. Installation was a breeze. Overall, I had a good shopping experience. I liked being able to play with different options (size, thickness, finish, etc) and see what the cost would be. From there, it was easy to place my order. I did need some assistance with regards to what type of finish worked best for my countertop, and was promptly given guidance by customer service. I also liked that the pricing was reasonable for what I was wanting.
I had two issues with the process. First, since I checked out as a guest, I couldn't use my order number to check status, which required a login. When I created one, my email address was apparently not associated with the order, so I had to contact CS for status updates. The second issue is that it took about a week longer than expected to ship.
Again, I had a good experience overall and would shop here again for a future project.
