My overall ordering experience was not anywhere near as positive as in the past. This time, I encountered multiple difficulties during ordering, despite repeated calls and emails from me trying to correct errors. I would rate the level of customer service as generally poor, though problems were ultimately addressed by a knowledgeable representative. The initial person taking the order was friendly, but seemed to lack competence, training, or both. To improve, I recommend having better-trained staff handling orders up front. The product I received in the end was excellent, and this quality speaks well for the shop personnel handling the build.

Looking forward to my butcher block arrival tomorrow, a bit earlier than expected , so that’s great right off the bat. Ordering was easy, and the call i received a few days after placing order was well appreciated. I asked for edging , but your call asked if i needed it on all four sides, i did not, allowing my piece to look proper in its spot i’m sure, Time will tell, i will let you know in my product review. The website was a little bit difficult to navigate. In particular, instructions with the butcherblock counter I ordered said to use "Butcher Block Oil" on the countertop and said it was available on your website. I could not find a product with that name on your website, which left me uncertain as to what I should use to condition the counter.

We are sorry to hear that you found the website difficult to navigate. If you are not planning on doing direct cutting on the counter top we would highly recommend going with a Polyurethane sealer as that is water proof and does not require any maintenance. If you do plan on cutting on it any Mineral Oil Finish from a local home improvement store will be good. Let us know if you have any further questions!

After looking into the matter, I’ve confirmed that your countertop was unfortunately delivered to the incorrect destination. To resolve this as quickly as possible, we have already remade the piece; it is currently in our finishing department being prepped for shipment.
We expect to have the new piece on its way to you by Friday, January 30th, at the latest. I will personally ensure you receive the updated tracking number as soon as it leaves our facility.
