Our shelf was delivered in perfect condition! Exactly the dimensions we requested, and was packed so well! Not a scratch on the shelf even though the mail scraped up the box a little. So easy to submit the custom order online too!

Just received my new custom red oak counter top. It's a gorgeous piece, perfectly surfaced and sized. Only one minor gripe and that is that the boards weren't color matched quite as well as i would have liked. One edge board is much lighter than the rest. Other than that it is perfect.

Customer service was very good.
Did not realize that product was so susceptible to warping as I did not plan to install it within 5 days of delivery. I wish I had known that before ordering. Also the description of the cherry wood stated red and brown coloring in it but what I received was a very light colored wood, so not as dark as I had hoped.

This is the second time we've purchased a counter for our house. The first was a few years ago for our built in desk. This time was for a counter for build in shelves. The process both times was very clear and easy. This time was a little more complicated (nearly 16 ft counter with a bumped out middle) so to make sure all was correct I spoke with and agent and also provided the prints of the cabinets. Maria worked with the design team to provide a cad drawing depicting the cuts, edging and joint to ensure it was correct. As with our previous experience, the estimated time to produce and ship was spot on - not early and not late - which is important as it needs to be installed with a week of receipt and fit perfectly into our project schedule. The only glitch was a small corner was not stained but Maria quickly shipped the necessary stain and poly to easily do it at home since the counter had been installed. I would certainly use Hardwood lumber again and happily recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful counter!!

Thank you for your detailed review! We're glad to hear that the production and shipping timelines met your expectations, and we appreciate your proactive approach in providing the cabinet prints. We apologize for the small staining oversight but are pleased that Maria was able to resolve it quickly. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we’re here to help with any future projects!
