Thank you for sharing your feedback! It looks like the delivery option selected at the time of placing the order was "Without Liftgate" which means that it is only a curbside delivery.
In the future, if you do not want to experience this issue please select "White Glove Delivery" which means they would carry it to the room of your choice.

The product came quick and looks really nice but there are many gaps when you interlock the pieces so the wall either needs to painted a similar color or you have to spend a lot of time fine tuning the fitment or putty each hole. Did not budget enough labor time.

This is the 3rd purchase I made from Hardwood lumber, for a total of 4 end table tops. All were walnut butcher block, with custom finishes or not, edging or not, and different dimensions. Customer service was excellent for all 3 purchases, where I called to clarify points before I ordered, or email from you to clarify specifics of edging requested. The orders were well packaged to prevent shipping damage, and the 4 end tables look perfect. I am quite proud of them, and love to show them off. I would recommend your company to anyone that asks. Turn around was fast. Finish appears good. I was told my treads would be single pieces of White Oak, they were bonded. Apparently, that fact is stated online. The color variation on a couple treads is very noticeable, only ordered 4 treads, 6(1/4). One tread needs replacing. Glue bled during bonding and there is an 1/8" diameter hole in the tread. I'm waiting on the companies reply on replacement.

Received order quicker than expected and will be ordering an island top in the near future. I think if you require that the top be finished and installed within a week that need to be up front on your website. I would have delayed ordering this until I received my base cabinet had I known this. The quality of the top is great!!

Ordering was fairly straightforward. Delivery times, however, were inaccurate. The day we ordered, the online estimate said delivery May 8, and the FAQs noted 2-3 weeks' processing + shipping time. It is now May 123 and we have still not received our pieces (so looking at 5 weeks total). When I reached out to customer service, they corrected me saying it was 2-3 weeks (it wasn't - it was almost exactly 4 weeks to the day since I'd ordered and the pieces hadn't shipped yet), and then when I clarified, they responded "thank you" and that was the end of the interaction. We haven't received the countertops yet so I can't speak to quality, but if I was on a tight timeline, I don't know that I'd order from HLC again.
