I chose the maple blend and it’s beautiful. I love all of its character. I ordered it finished on both sides. I tread the wood with oil then conditioner over 3 days. I was so delighted with the final outcome and am excited to use it as a counter top covering. Saved $1000’s of dollars instead of ordering all new counters.

The oak treads are really nice. However, many of my questions made during and after the order went unanswered, even after they were reminded that they didn't answer. Communication isn't their strong point and 2 months later I got my treads. So, if you are not in a hurry and know what you want and can order it properly, then you are set. Otherwise, you better call because answering emails isn't their forte.

A countertop that's a few thousand dollars shouldn't come so warped that it cant be installed, then to be told by customer service its my issue to deal with is not right.

Unfortunately the warping issue is completely out of our control and we typically do not consider it a defect because it is something that you can correct. You could definitely provide better examples or guidance in terms of what you want to see for drawings to guide CAD hole cutting etc.... also the order process was oddly quiet between the day I finalized and the day there was something showing up in my yard. But ....the actual piece? It's really lovely, beauitfully made, carefully packed and shipped, reasonably priced. Big win overall!
