Ordered a butcher block to replace an existing top on a kitchen island. Was impressed by the variety of woods offered. Our was a not so common size. But Hardwood offered it as option. As well were the variety of finish options and explanations on website for same. Follow up and order status notices were appreciated.

First qualification: I bought only 1 small piece of "second" counter top. I'm a one time, perhaps one time customer. A small snag occurred. The person I dealt with, Sarah Miller, was 100% in every way I could expect. The "second" arrived early on the second day after shipment. The piece didn't look to be 100%. The wood is fine(a simple 9” x 24“ piece of cherry wood block.) but I can’t imagine why it took six weeks to arrive. When I called, people I talked with were a little confused, then defensive, and had no answers. My experience is of a company that is disorganized and a bit careless with orders. Not sure I would ever trust them for a large, complicated order.

Ordering and delivery went well. The product came as I specified and was good quality. I received a premature shipping order very early and had a hard time confirming my order status. The folks here insist on using a third-party update app (Route) which never worked for me and so, it was a mystery for me during the entire order, what the status was.
