I just received my cutting board and it's awesome thr craftsmanship is impeccable

With so many customization options, the ordering process was complicated. However, the customer service team followed up quickly and made everything a breeze.

The walnut board has a beautiful grain and arrived unscathed and as expected. Excited to use it; it looks especially beautiful after oiling.. I will keep this company in mind for the future, as these boards make lovely gifts. Who can't use a great cutting board that lasts forever?! :)

Still haven’t received your product. I ordered 1 month before Christmas and still haven’t received it. Terrible service. Terrible delivery. Just terrible. I hope you haven’t taken my money yet.

We did finally receive the product, and it was great, so my complaint is only about the communication of lead times and them actually meeting the lead times.

I ordered thru the website, and all went well. Shipping information with UPS requires an app, which I have no interest in applying for....so receipt in in the hand of the gods.

Ordered a wide plank hickory top 1 3/4” thick for a coffee table. Solid and heavy hard wood.

Customer service and product quality was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised. I had a somewhat complex situation where I had to fit several shelves between a wall and a rough stone fireplace. I wanted to make sure the pre-drilled screw holes on the metal shelf bracket would hit my wall studs. I communicated with Maria from Customer Service several times and provided her an explanation of my situation along with a photo. She was always polite, prompt, and detailed with her responses and then forwarded my special request along to the production team.
The resulting product was outstanding! It was a tight but perfect fit. The pre-drilled holes were exactly where they needed to be. The shelves were a nice quality and held very securely along the wall. My wife and I couldn’t be happier!
A good review should always provide constructive criticism and I will provide it here but want to stress, they were minor and understandable. First, the shelves were a week behind the original estimated delivery. However my order happened to fall over the holiday s so there are no worries there. Additionally, perhaps a brief message from production explaining they understood my situation would have put me at ease, but the resulting product shows they knew what they were doing and exactly what I needed.

5. Yes, 1 star. I specifically ordered a 12' plank, 1 " thick, 12" wide. I received a 12" x 12" x 1" piece of wood. I am wanting to upgrade a desktop, and I received a piece of wood that makes a small cutting board. I have never bought expensive lumber before, but I would think standard measurements would be the same. 12" means 1', 12' means 12 feet, 1" means 1 inch. At least in the US.
I was wondeering how FEDEX could deliver a 12' long board, but I see I should have been more concerned.
I was specific when I emailed about misplaceing my order summary.

Purchasing and product selection was great. Shipping fees seemed excessive. Tracking system did not work due to dead web links. Very happy with the quality of my stair treads.

The new cutting board is beautiful. It is exactly as ordered, and the quality is impressive. The company kept me informed on the production and delivery. The only problem I had was with delivery with FedEx. The board apparently rode around in the "out for delivery" truck for 3 days. On the 3rd day, the driver threw it in a snow bank at the end of the driveway. Our driveway was completely clear of snow at the time, and the package was clearly marked as FRAGILE. This is not the fault of Hardwood Lumber Co., but I thought you should know about problems regarding FedEx.. My neighbors and I have had several problems with their deliveries in the past weeks; whereas, UPS and USPS are far superior services.

As a DYI home owner tackling a big project I was nervous to ask my questions because I really don't know anything. But when I emailed, I was answered promptly and then when I called about a different product the staff were patient, resourceful and kind. We ended up ordering a red maple second and its on its way! We are excited to add their product to our project.
The only reason this review is a four instead of a five is that their website could use some basic clarifying information.
